See the real response from a true believer is "He won't beat Usyk" but instead you retort to pathetic insults. Fury is coming for your boy.

Since Fury’s fans consider Usyk a middleweight and nothing impressive, it should do zero for Fury’s legacy and all-time ranking, right?

If he takes out Usyk, Zhang, and Joshua, he can retire a top 10 HW ATG imo

Just good banter. Usyk is the best man to challenge of anyone. Fury might have been able to become undisputed against a small midget named Ruiz or a useless bodybuilder named AJ, that would be a boring walk in the park, atleast Usyk does present something a little different. He has legit skills, IQ footspeed, stamina everything you'd expect from a GOAT'd cruiserweight. Fury just understands when he raises his game and does the business it will just be excuses and then people will be demanding he fight Zhang another man who came out the bushes who is supposedly a threat to The King.

Usyk is probably the best cruiserweight of all time and stands alongside Holyfield, probably would box off Holyfield as well.

Fury will make him look like a middleweight (even though Usyk is actually a BIG cruiserweight and has pretty much always been bigger than his comp at that weight). Difference is Fury ain't no normal heavyweight. 6'9" 275 pounds of every trick in the book. Not your typical big dumb useless plodding heavyweight with a 5 round gas tank.

We already know the excuses and Fury said it 6 months ago. They will say he was old and too small. They said Wlad was old but then it changed into an "off night" after he nearly chinned AJ. Fury will never get his credit from a select bunch but that's their loss to not appreciate a once in a lifetime heavyweight.

    Ok I'll bite Rummy.
You list yours and I'll list mine that fit the criteria I set and we can then we can compare the two.
My point stands that Fury's resume is poor compared to what it could have been.
I know that you rate Wilders defence of the WBC belt, I don't it was very weak. So I understand your position but strongly disagree.
The fact is most of this era has been poor due to half the top guys not testing themselves.
Boxing is about context, I'm not interested in what a boxer "could" do it has to be demonstrated, so Wilder this or Fury that means nothing.

It earns him nothing BECAUSE HE HAS SPENT SO MUCH TIME TALKING USYK DOWN.

You think Fury is going into a fight with Usyk without employing all of his verbal warfare tactics? He isn't talking Usyk down for us, it's for him and it's to belittle and try to intimidate Usyk but he knows very well all of it is likely worthless. But sometimes one of them seeds that bounces off can take root in a fight which can form a crack to victory. Cunningham chose to stay down. We know Usyk won't choose it & has to be forced upon him.

Fury has had a few little victories in his mind already in the pre-fight antics. Usyk probably feels the same way himself.

I'm trying to break it down but I don't think any normal person can even comprehend the kind of mindset and mental ability fighters like Fury, Usyk, Ali etc possess. It's delusion but not delusion.

Fury has beat many an opponent without throwing a punch.

A man who overcomes his fears should be commended.

I don't generally get into "all time" lists, so the best I can say is that Fury will be the best of his generation if he beats Usyk. Sadly his resume leaves a lot to be desired, but beating the hardest puncher and best boxer of the bunch goes a long way in making up for that. Likewise, if Usyk wins, he's the best of the generation, because even though most of his wins were not in the 200+ division, his short career will have seen him beat the guy who took on a fair chunk of this generation's talent and an excellent boxer who had him beat in height, weight and reach.
