Totally agree. In a fight he was winning where wood looked a lot more depleted than warrington had been up to that point. Also thought the point was harsh.

Warrington is a dirty fighter. I m not a fan either tbh. But no mention of anything from the ref....then a straight up point deduction imo to try to give wood some momentum In a fight he was struggling in.

Suspect bigger plans for wood than warrington going forward might have played a part in both decisions. Should have got the minute for me....if hes done after the minute...not a problem.

Pretty sure he was battered around against lara....and giving the benefit of the doubt....when his career was going well. Same old story tho....give favour to the one with the better career going forward.

 

Neither Wood or Warrington would go 5 rounds with Naz.

 

To be fair, up until he got tagged tonight, that is probably his best performance since those 2 fights unless you include when he won in 2 rounds against that fighter whose name escapes me after he was gifted the win against Galahad.

I didn't see the reaction in the corner but he didn't seem to be protesting too much. Much as I hate to say it, I think Bellew got it right.
