I don't think Floyd beats this Canelo Nearly as easily. These Canelo's are so different.

44-0 fights and how many fights were resume and experience building bum fights? He'd fought Hatton, shot Mosley, dragged up Josesito, and arguably lost to Trout before he got the call from Floyd.

If Floyd was still 44-0 today and 6 fights away from his retirement, you think he'd step to Clenelo at 160 or 168?

    Yeah, that's what I thought.

    Smoke more copium.

If Canelo was on the same level as Mayweather's skill level especially with the size and youth on his side he would've won or atleast made it very close. He couldn't compete at all with a much smaller man who isn't even fighting at his best weightclass hence he wasn't on Mayweather's level end of.

As for cope ? I'm not even a Mayweather fan you're always bringing up the samething which means it effects you more than it does me. The fact is an almost 40 year old Mayweather beat Canelo with ease end of.

A 23 year old, drained, and inexperienced Clenelo, yes, I agree.

160-168 Clenelo bodies any version of Floyd with ease.

Makes me laugh people want to drag Mayweather up to Super Middleweight so Canelo can "beat him".

How about we drag Canelo up to Cruiserweight and make him face number 1 ranked Cruiserweight.

    Did I say Clenelo won?

    No.

I'm saying Floyd didn't fight the best version of Clenelo and that the Clenelo of the last 7 years to now would possibly end Floyd's life in the ring.

For someone who claims he isn't a Floyd fan, you're having tremendous difficulty coping with this fact.

And all you're doing is making excuses for Canelo's loss the samething you're accusing me of.

But the difference is i don't need an excuse Mayweather won, you need the excuse because Canelo lost.

Do you not see how you're contradicting you're own logic ? What you're claiming others of doing you're doing yourself.

There is no "fact" to your comment just an excuse. The only fact is Canelo lost a wide decision.

You know 160-175 Clenelo would destroy Floyd in the ring, so, NO, Floyd did NOT fight the best version of Clenelo.

You know this. I know this. The boxing world knows this.

Thats the casual narrative when in reality he is now 1 dimensional, slower, worse gas tank. Not sure how that makes a fighter 'better'. In reality he was basically in his prime when he fought Floyd. 42 pro fights, physical peak at 23, pro for 8 years, multiple title defenses. Floyd smokes any version, just too fast and skilled.

If 160-175 Canelo is so great, why did he lose twice to GGG, get clowned by Bivol, duck Benavidez, and drag a 154lber up to fight? Doesn't seem all that great to me.

Which fight would you consider his very best at these weights?

Yet he struggled to beat at 40 year old GGG and certainly did not appear to have improved.

There is virtually no evidence that Canelo is any better than he was. He's gotten stockier and more physically imposing, but that's about it.

It makes me laugh these people want to say "poor green weight drained Canelo" the same Canelo who was 42-0 with over a dozen championship fights and has also had A side judging in all his big fights.

That must be the first time in history I've heard of a fighter with those credentials being "green".

Mayweather could never fight at Middleweight hes too small his highest recorded weight was 152 pounds. So what you're saying is a fantasy. That doesn't mean Canelo is better than Mayweather, all that means is that Canelo is a bigger man we know this and can move up the weights obviously. But Canelo's size difference still didn't make an impact on Mayweather because the skill level difference was so apparent.

P4P compare them at their best weights who's better ? Mayweather. Has Canelo ever had a performance like Mayweather did over Corrales at Super Featherweight ?
