Every puncher (especially at HW) has a puncher's chance, even if it's 1%. Which is why the announcement timing was dumb, by all means announce after the Ngannou fight in your victory speech. Announcing it before is tempting fate, even if it's low percentage fate.

Probably, but it doesn’t matter. Power punchers are a dime a dozen at HW. There are a lot of journeymen you never heard of out there who hit harder than the current world champions but they are where they are because they lack the skills.
