You clearly rate Fury but after the last few years of his clowning around and stupid games I can't stand the guy.

But for my money Froch has one of the best resumes out there. Tough as nails and fought all comers

Its just another thread to promote tyson fury. Froch said some negative things about fury.

So Earth Worm Jim was prompted to create a froch bashing thread.

Although I agree with your general point, you did make spelling mistakes in the post in which you ripped into 'Jimbo' (who's a ****ing moron), and now you're claiming a résumé is different from a record. Before the existence of Hearn, it was always record, and now fans such as yourself have lapped up the résumé talk. A résumé is something handed over to a potential or prospective employer. A boxing record is just as it sounds, a track record that evidences a boxer's activity throughout their career and all of its nuances. A résumé was something only used colloquially and fleetingly prior to Hearn's love of the word. You can argue with me until you're blue in the face because you do seem like a stubborn guy being wound up by an illiterate tool like Jim, but you'd still be wrong!

 

It depends on what you like really. Froch was a warrior and gave great value for money. Has a good resume as well. Fury is the number one in the division, and beat Wlad. So Fury is the better boxer of the two. He does have everyone p*ssed off with the Usyk thing but he got the bag he wanted so maybe there is method behind it all. What worries me now is the fights we want will never get made as boxers will hold out and the fans to random to grab the Saudi bag

 

Resume is more who you have fought, I see record as those you have beaten. That's my interpretation of it anyway. Language evolves, terms can be created. Same words can be adapted to mean different things in different content.
