I can't stand Floyd but he'd beaten better Fighters than Spence by the time he was 24 .. Hernandez for example.. Spence is OVERRATED as fk.. time ya'll got on board with that.. He barely got past Porter and was almost knocked out by Ugas who B level Barrios took apart recently... Spence was never all that and the version Crawford got was even worse.. as for Crawford... Floyd beat numerous fighters better than him.. Cotto, Mosley, JMM, Manny, Canelo, Oscar.. Crawfords legacy is basically Spence.. & that win is easy to dissect. Yes Crawford is a very skillful fighter but there is very little substance to his resume. Forget the trinket belt collection. His resume is dire... fk, I'd even take the Judah Floyd beat to whoop Spence actually..

Canelo is overrated by some but he is still above Crawford and Spence.

Crawford was undisputed in 2 weight classes which is something Floyd never did. Crawford has at least 1 elite win and who knows in regards to a Canelo fight cause that would be something special too

Floyd doesn't have a Crawford on his resume but plenty of guys better than Spence. Having said that, both Crawford and Mayweather have fairly weak resumes. A bunch of solid wins but nothing great. Both guys belong in the HOF but when we start talking ATG, they both fall short. Maybe Crawford can still pull it off but he's getting up there in age and there aren't many challengers to put him over the top other than maybe Canelo at 168 pounds.

You’ll have to ask the OP for further clarification.

Not really it says right there in his opening post. He specifically names a certain period of time in Floyd's career, rather than his actual career.

This is true but beating Dulorme, Indongo, and Postol to become undisputed at 140 and Horn and Spence to do so at 147 isn't that impressive. He deserves credit for achieving it for sure but Spence, as I've been saying for ages, had no right being ranked in the top 5 P4P and is arguably fortunate to be ranked top 10.

FTR, I much prefer Crawford to Floyd. There's nothing to like about Floyd outside of the ring but, as said, his resume poops all over Crawford's.

I think Spence and Crawford are better than any fighter Floyd defeated

Spence is a great fighter he was just weight drained. That's not his fault

I always felt Spence was overrated and a hype train. That doesn't change the fact he was universally a Top 5 PFP fighter but I just wasnt drinking the KoolAid.

Its a terrific win for Crawford though. That single win is probably better than any single win by Floyd but thats subjective of course

It's his fault for having poor discipline and ballooning up in between fights.

Like Thurman said, "that Spence loses to Porter." Put Ennis.in there, he would've got Spence out there much quicker. Crawford is the most overrated boxer of this.generation imo

Doesn't change the fact that wasn't the best \ version of Spence.
