Riddick Bowe. The man I simultaneously admire as the last heavyweight of the great Eddie Futch, and detest for how he wasted his career.

 

Bowe would have ducked him in his prime as he was too big and strong. Fighting blown up cruiserweights like Holyfield and Hide was his level and even in those fights they lit him up well.

 

This guy DUCKED Lewis like how Joshua DUCKED Fury Wilder Joyce Zhang Ortiz Wallin etc etc etc

Battle of the DUCKERS. Bowe probably makes Joshua quit.

 

Bowe needs to throw himself in the trashcan, if he isn't there already.

 

Sad to see Bowe begging for a final payday. While it's terrible to see a fighter who once achieved so much and earned so much money end up broke and be so desperate to risk their health for another pay check, he only has himself to blame. Even if someone threw him a bone and gave him another big payday, you just know he'd be broke again in a few years.

 

Look what happened to him in that Maui Thai fight. Different sport I know but how about Bowe spars a top amateur heavyweight or super heavyweight and see what happens to this once great what if? How about a fight between him and any too cruiserweight. Guy needs to shut the **** up and remember who he didn’t fight in his prime. Not who he wants to fight now he can hide behind his age.

 

It's the same way Wilder's probably going to end up, and I don't say that with any sort of satisfaction. But some fighters are just a leaky bucket. No matter how much they earn in their careers it'll all just run out the holes.

 

Bad enough to see the guy in the white house with dementia now were subject to Bowes publicly cognitive decline.

 

Bowe can hardly speak anymore.

 

In other words he's broke.

I liked his calling out of Lewis after Lewis had retired
Lewis said, "He waits until I am in retirement to call out my name, I will come out of retirement to beat up that guy. I'll beat him up for free."

My favourite however was when Bowe is reported to have confronted Lewis, on Twitter, demanding Lewis "put his gold medal on and let's fight for that!!", Lewis replied " I thought we already did."

Mr Bowe in your day you could well have made your prophecy come true re AJ, but please stop with this present day old broken pug nonsense.
