Could Beterbiev outbox Canelo?

    More money to be made @ 175 and he has no trouble making weight.
    I think Beterbiev has more than enough power to move up and do well

    I think Beterbiev has been hit by far harder punchers than Canelo. I don't think Canelo has ever been hit by someone of Beterbiev's power. So why the hell would he try to outbox Canelo?

    Most indudabably. We would also find what Canilio's cheen is made of too. There's a reason he's not actively pursuing 'Biev.

    I have no doubt he would go forward and knock him out. Clenelo’s power wouldn’t be felt at that weight class against a guy like Beterbiev…

    People ask...why hasn't Beterbiev fought this guy or that guy???

    Like a lot of Eastern European fighters, his career has not been managed well.

    A combination of not having a large built-in fan base in the US and managers/promotional people who haven't quite figured out the business of pro boxing means some of these guys fight in semi-obscurity without ever making the real big bucks.

    This. Even at his advanced age I think Beterbiev could beat all the top guys at cruiserweight, but unfortunately cruiserweight offers no money, which is why top talent rarely stay at cruiserweight.

    Of course Beterbiev would KO Canelo. It’s a question of, aside from the difference in power, would Beterbiev be able to outbox Canelo in terms of skill.
