This was the time he was “too big and strong” for Golovkin but wouldn’t go near him whilst chasing this fight. He was and is mentally fragile. Groves shattered his belief in the first fight, did well to win the second but knows he was relying on toughness/one punch kos as he was losing just like against Taylor. His massive ego couldn’t handle a loss to anybody proper and people remembering that more than they would for the 90000 people in Wembley stadium which he now makes out as a joke but it certainly wasn’t at the time.

    Lol

Mentally fragile people don't take on challenges such as Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Ward and Bute back to back.

When the chips are down (e.g. the Jermain Taylor fight) they don't bite down and grind out a win in the dying seconds.

They also don't produce career best knockouts in National football stadiums.

Not a Froch fan, but the Taylor comeback deserves huge respect.

You can see why Froch rates Leigh Wood, aside from the city connection. Similar type of fighter at times.

Agree bud. Even though not a fan I feel froch was on a different level P4P than Wood though. The 168lbs division was good when he boxed unlike current 126lbs which is weak.

They do go and see psychologists and revert everything back to themselves 10 years after they retire because of the need to feel loved.

    Lol.
