It's become obvious that Canelo and Bivol are trying to age Beterbiev out. Can't blame them one bit. He used to fight at 201 as an amatuer and has the power of a heavy weight. At 38yo how long can Beterbiev last tho?

He never weighed more than 83kg as an amateur

At least through the calendar year 2024. Which means that during that time Beterbiev can have at least 3 top fights; one this year, and two in 2024. There could be more fights, but I haven't noticed that the champions are showing up in the ring that often these days.
I am not sure about this, nor can I confirm it.

Was listening to an interview with his trainer Ice Man Scully and that's what he said. You could be right tho. This is the interview. Scully knows his shxt about boxing tho so I like listening to what he has to say.

He starts talking about it at the 27:30 mark. Good interview.

Bivol has personal problems so right now he is weaker than Beterbiev, both mentally and physically.

Beterbiev should become undisputed, move up and fight strongest champion and retire after that with 100% KO record.

I personally think Callum Smith will be the one to derail the aging Beterbiev train.

The only fight that Beterbiev is really obligated to take is Bivol. He's not really obligated to fight Canelo really.

Canelo has outright avoided any and all talk of Beterbiev since the Bivol loss, period. He does not even mention that guys name anymore. He'll also never age out Beterbiev no matter what because the difference in power is just that high. The other issue here is Canelo has much more wear and tear due to his longer career so if anything he would out-age Beterbiev.

For Beterbievs part, I believe he was actually asked if he wanted to fight Canelo and his answer was a firm no. It'd make no sense to fight someone who he, Canelo and everyone else knows would be demolished in round 1.

The same Callum Smith that kept looking up at the time clock vs Canelo? Yeah right Smith has no heart and when he feels those punches he's gonna look at the time clock yet again
