This was the time he was “too big and strong” for Golovkin but wouldn’t go near him whilst chasing this fight. He was and is mentally fragile. Groves shattered his belief in the first fight, did well to win the second but knows he was relying on toughness/one punch kos as he was losing just like against Taylor. His massive ego couldn’t handle a loss to anybody proper and people remembering that more than they would for the 90000 people in Wembley stadium which he now makes out as a joke but it certainly wasn’t at the time.
he did mate wrost that in another post so i did cant remember what one but he lost it your right about the wembley 80000 fans thing cos he was serious at the time had to blow his own trumpet now he makes out likes its joke cos he got **** taken out of him he has an enormous ego at the end of day hes just a fella who was good at punching and being punched some boxers have to big egos for what they do lol
we need more folk like you on the board mate a ray of sun shine the life of party the fella every body likes a very smart bloke always looks to the positives lol
Lol Mentally fragile people don't take on challenges such as Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Ward and Bute back to back. When the chips are down (e.g. the Jermain Taylor fight) they don't bite down and grind out a win in the dying seconds. They also don't produce career best knockouts in National football stadiums.
You can see why Froch rates Leigh Wood, aside from the city connection. Similar type of fighter at times.
what do you mean rates him rates him good or rates him bad cos to me he rates him ok if leigh woods was better froch would rate him worse cos hed see him as a threat hed hate that but cos hes lost and been knocked out and that he doesnt get his ego bruised froch is a megalanomaniac
Agree bud. Even though not a fan I feel froch was on a different level P4P than Wood though. The 168lbs division was good when he boxed unlike current 126lbs which is weak.
They do go and see psychologists and revert everything back to themselves 10 years after they retire because of the need to feel loved. Lol.
