Ruddock has all the tools but for whatever reason seemed too stupid to use his reach and stay behind a jab and 1-2 to stay safe, score points and set up the smash.

The old saying is to set the table with the jab, eat with the right and clean up with the hook.

Ruddock just likes to clean up apparently.

Im gonna go with 50/50 split decision either way

Say what now? Toney is fighting Razor this weekend? Is it an exhibition, ala Tyson vs RJJ?

I've just looked it up. The 55 year old Toney is due to have an exhibition vs the 59 year old Ruddock on 11th November, apparently.

In their primes Toney ain't stopping Razor so it 's a decision. Over 12 it will be close, Toney's sharp counters vs Razor's bombs.

Ruddock is the most shot fighter ive seen training footage of. Im not trying to be mean but these days he looks like a spastic or stroke victim throwing punches on the bag, obviously he has natural explosiveness and power, since he did knock out some guys and challange for a canadian title a few years ago but his punch resistance, reflexes and especially his balance are COMPLETELY gone. Ive read posts of people who have seen or met him in the last few years and theyve said he cant even really walk up a few steps without holding on to something and is very unwell.

In Prime, Ruddock gets himself a decision, roughing up Toney.
James win s maybe 4 rounds tops but manages to hang till the end.

That is also how I see it, provided that Toney gets into shape

Roy Jones decked Toney so I think Ruddock might have a chance at doing that and then some

They're both old so perhaps both get hurt.

I mean, Ruddock vs a super middleweight. I'll have to pick Ruddock

I could see a decision going either way. Ruddock was too predictable for me to see him ever hitting Toney clean enough to score a knockout.
