Backing the monster here. If he wins, Undisputed in two weight divisions is incredible

That's a really good point. Inoue is one of the very few fighters whose fights I look forward to watching regardless of the quality or name of the opponent. In that respect he is very much like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson.

I feel like this is leading up to an American debut vs. Nery

He had his American debut a few years ago on HBO on one of those Superfly cards.

I don't think he needs to fight in America again. If he's undisputed, everyone will need to go to him.

He's the same height as Inoue... at least it looked that way when he jumped into the ring.

Not Nery, he is banned from Boxing in Japan due to failed drug tests & missing weight

Inoue said he wants to fight him at 122 & US is the next logical for that fight + Arum said Inoue will be back in US next year at least once, so the Nery fight makes the most sense in US

Inoue's objective is securing all the belts

Once he has secured all the belts

    His next priority is vengeance

Punishing all those who've disrespected or wronged him, his people, or his country

It's not a coincidence JCR and Nery are on his hit list

Against Fulton he got to do both - belts and vengeance

He likely caught wind of Fulton's ''He's only getting hyped because he's Japanese'' comments or whatever the exact quote was during the lead up to their fight, but if vengeance wasn't on his mind at the point it sure as well was when Fulton arrived in Japan and his team started accusing him of cheating

Inoue gave him a FTM K-Pop star metrosexual death stare at the weigh in that would've put the willies up the Devil himself

JCR and Nery should prey to their gods that oompa loomp Tapales can somehow pull off the upset because Inoue is coming for their heads in 2024

The obvious pick is Inoue, but Tapales turned up for the MJ fight and he was smooth with the boxing and punishing counters. Especially them sick uppercuts. I doubt Inoue's the type to go easy in camp (dude just posted that he did an intensive week of training and the fight is like more than 2 months away), but he better not overlook Tapales.
