What a year Tszyu has had.

Harrison, Ocampo, now Mendoza and he stopped Harrison and Ocampo and battered Mendoza from pillar to post.

I meant the Harrison fight - I forgot that Tim’s schedule has been relatively busy this year and over sighted the Ocampo fight.

Of course you can still be controlled and selective in executing quick blow outs - but Tim had a few missed swings vs Ocampo that could’ve been left out in a perfect world - see Louis vs Schmeling 2 for an optimally efficient blow out - but Tim’s performance was highly impressive nonetheless.

Not a bad performance. Would have been better if he wasn't such a "smug, profoundly unlikeable, mustachiode asswipe "

Inoue is lock for FOTY. But Tszyu really has had a breakthrough 2023. Definitely #1 as far as that's concerned.

This fight was easily the best one of the day for me. Completely blew the ESPN card out of the water. Looking forward to Tim doing the same to Charlo, if ever comes out of his Houston Hidey Hole

Tim has definitely revitalized Aussie boxing as well.... Deserves massive props for that. Boxing needs to remain a global sport with superstars from around the globe. The more real fighters to combat these Youtube imposers the better.

I do like comparing cards, and I think Boxing Scene have some of the best cards out there, they had it 115-113 Tszyu with the only round different being the second which they gave to Tim, as it was a close round a draw is absolutely feasible.

I hear you but the fact is that control and selective punching wasn't on the agenda that night. He had a straight up bum in front of him and he treated him like that. Sure he missed some shots but what fighter don't. As for Luis vs Schmeling, you don't have to go back that far. You can go to the Crawford vs Spence fight if you want to witness an optimally efficient blowout.
