I wouldn't be surprised if they are just using the Usyk fight to sell his gimmick fight with MMA guy next cos most fans had had enough of his nonsense.

 

That is how I see it and the same with the mention of Joshua v Wilder.

 

I doubt if Usyk's management would play along with that somehow. Although it does get Usyk out of a sequence of mandatories for a while at least.

I've no doubt Usyk's management would not play games like that.
But that's not saying Fury won't be stringing them along into thinking the fight is going ahead and then pulling out at last minute

 

Fury wouldn't string the Saudis along, far too much money for that.

Think Fury might believe his own hype sometimes

 

Dunno, he's incredibly respectful towards them, unusually so. He usually reserves that for terrible opponents he lines up like Whyte and Chisora.
