It would be nice if 2 of the best fighters, in the same exact division would go ahead and unify. I get that it's high risk but at this point it's on their career management I'd think. If you're not a big money fighter at this point in their respective careers they won't ever be.

There's a Russian kickboxing champion named Artem Vakhitov who got fired from the Glory Kickboxing promotion just for being a Russian citizen during this Russo-Ukrainian War. As far as I'm aware, the guy never even made any public statements of support for the war, Putin or any political topics for that matter. Absolutely disgraceful.

This is the war cry of the Ginger Lovers ROFL Get folk believing they are really ducking each other so as Ginger can really duck the man he knows he cannot beat His Step Daddy Dmitry Bivol just like Floyd & the MAN!! he was scared senseless of Antonio The Tijuana Tornado Margarito!! I love watching those videos of Floyd's cowardice How he can still show his face & claim to be The Greatest Ever when he embarrassed himself in front of that crowd & anyone who had a cell phone. I don't know about some of you claiming Bernard Hopkins is losing it when you idolize Mayweather They ought to form a comedy duo Floyd & Ginger The Quack Quacks !!! lol

Think about it this is traditional of the LHW division where 2 guys circle around each other for years and never fight. Roy Jones and Dariusz Michalczewski did it and so did Sergey Kovalev and Adonis Stevenson. Bivol and Beterbiev would just simply be following tradition. It’s been flying under the radar for so long because the WW division been more obvious with the marinating.

How much did Crawford and Spence get paid to fight each other?

    Allegedly $25-30 mill a piece

How long did it take for them to fight each other?

How much will Beterbiev and Bivol earn for fighting each other?

    I dunno.. maybe $2 mill?

Beterbiev and Gvozdyk fought each other in their 3rd and 2nd defences of their world titles respectively for $1.5 mill each

Would Crawford and Spence have fought each other for that little? It took forever to get them into the ring with each other for $25-30 mill a piece

Haney earned $3 mill for facing an old washed up Linares

His best win prior to facing that an even older 39 y/o shot to bits Gamboa

Haney has a boring style and a boring personality so why is he earning twice as much as Beterbiev and Gvozdyk did to face prime versions of each other in a unification match up between two of the best fighters in the division, both of whom undefeated, big punchers, and good to watch?

Beterbiev doesn't duck at least so far, the peoples champ has been waiting & has no problem facing anyone unlike Bivol who remains coy at the prospect of facing him whenever his name comes up.

Money or not the fighters are only screwing themselves up in the process by not fighting each other,

Just fight & your stock will benefit either way, as for the examples of Crawford/Spence well in their case it was just "one side" really not wanting to fight at all because they knew their guy would have everything taken away from him if it were to occur & it wasn't so much the one purse being the reason for that fight not happening but more of preserving their whole investment instead.

Eddie Hearn says he's been dealing with an injury. In addition, he appears to have some domestic issues / family drama going on.

There is no excuse. Canelo became undisputed. Usyk became undisputed. Crawford became undisputed twice. Their fights were far more significant and difficult to make than freaking Bivol vs Beterbiev who aren't exactly household names. This is Kovalev vs Stevenson all over again. The light heavy division already struggles to stay relevant and it only becomes worse when the best won't fight the best. Make it happen already. The days of beltholders just trashing mediocre opponents and avoiding other beltholders needs to end.

Why would Beterbiev be ducking Bivol when he already faced someone more dangerous in Gvozdyk, and he is now having to face big punchers one after the other just to hold onto his belts. Doesn't make sense that he would be the one ducking when he is getting older all the time and any one of these guys he is facing could take him out. The problem is far more likely to be on Bivol's end.
