Just from what i am told and this isnt first and granted. Wilder has stated he wants the $50m he was promised by Saudi. Thats off the table due to the Skills challenge issue, The Abus Dhabi which is the biggest offer outside of this is for Wilder to take $25/30m. He is not interested in that as he thinks he can pick up $10-15m for easy fights (theres zero platforms that will pay im that, but thats besides the point)

So team AJ decided Fury will not offer a fair purse based on current position. team AJ felt the fight vs Hrgovic was a gamble worth taking and felt that IBF would offer an interim title fight whilst Fury vs Usyk takes place. They would then leverage the purse bid within 30 days as per IBF and if Fury vacated AJ gets position back as a champion or theres an undisputed to sell the Saudis and a flat fee comes in rather than the old 60/40 or Fury then has to take fights he cant get up for or cant sell or retires.

IBF have shot themselves in the foot as the gave Wallin an eliminator and made him number 2. So in theory Wallin vs Hrgovic, at that point Hrgovic will dig his heels in as he technically should have been mandatory months ago.

In the meantime WBA have cancelled their regular mandatory and WBA have made it clear they let Charr get his payday following his lawsuit and AJ get his position as per his plan with the IBF. AJ plans to force the Fury fight is Wilder will not fight for a realistic purse.

Side note - one day wilder if he has a brain cell will one day sue his advisors as he was offered $100m for Breazeale and 2 AJ fights and took less for the Fury fights that ended his profile in the US. He is still listening to these advisors as a bird in the hand...

Joshua has turned down 40% for Fury twice since December. What does he believe is a fair offer in his current position?

His current position being that. He’s not in his best position. Remember fury wouldn’t take the same split when AJ had 3 belts. AJ is doing what puts him in a better negotiation position

AJ has the bigger brand value from a commercial standpoint although Fury has done very well to catch up. If AJ gets a belt back and wins 1/2 credible fights and they are both going into the fight with a belt each it’s a 50/50 fight. If it’s in Saudi there won’t be a split it will be a set purse and much easier to do.

Bigger brand value? Weren’t we told that his sponsors stopped the fight last December?
Fury is selling out stadiums, Netflix series, top-selling book - Joshua was booed at the 02, losing fights and paying to sit in a darkened room.

Joshua is a Matchroom Manicured fighter spun as the next Ali by Hearn to the public but in reality he has zero elite traits and has never dethroned a genuine Champion in the ring.

Joshua was a glorified British Level Paper Mache Champion.

Boxing fans: AJ has spent a career ducking Wilder and Fury, feasting on bums and shot names, and losing to obese grinning Mexicans and feather fisted cruiserweights.

Matchroom fans: “Joshua has a bigger brand value from a commercial standpoint.”

Stop spamming here with stupid opinions off twitter ffs

Eddie's giving you £500 a week we all get that , but if we wanted some random guy to tell us how great matchroom is we could go on IFL .
Can't you see you are having the complete opposite effect of what you are trying to achieve?

And BTW you'll see I was right months ago about AJ...he won't fight anyone with a pulse until your God cashes him out..the only way he will ever fight Zhiang would be AJs last fight in China or something...

    Bring on Manny Charrr lol

His legacy fight is Andy Ruiz 1 in New York on 1 June 2019.

That is the first fight people will remember when they think back on the career of The Rumbled One.

He is targeting the wrong audience on here and urinating against a very strong wind.

People with any boxing knowledge watching Joshua could see years ago after round 2 v Dillian Whyte that Hearn was a master salesman selling a turd that don't smell to the unsuspecting public.

    Joshua’s legacy:

    - quitting against a fatty
    - throwing a paddy when Usyk beat him
    - not fighting Wilder or Fury

People can reel off his list of wins which includes an old inactive Klitschko who Fury had given a boxing lesson to 18 months earlier and a load of B level fighters but unless it was a mandatory (Usyk) where they’d have to give up a belt they’ve had no interest in trying to fight top heavyweights.

Listen to yourself, you are so deluded. The IBF have ‘shot themselves in the foot’? He isn’t in the top 2, get over it. Everything doesn’t spin the way want it I’m afraid. Joshua clearly isn’t currently wanted in Saudi. Talking about commercial value, he’s no where near Fury at this point.

Just retire, it’s boring. Talk, talk, talk and even the casuals can see through it. So dull.
