I think he wants to see if the Canelo rematch will happen first. A loss to AB would derail that big payday.

Beterbiev running away from DAZN to hide behind Bob Arum says it all.

Excluding Lennox Lewis, those Canadian fighters are straight up :gey:

I think we have another Stevenson/Kovalev situation on our hands, and it sucks.

I don't think they are avoiding each other. Beterbiev wants the fight, Bivol says the same, and OG Bob is on record, numerous times, blocking it from happening when there were no obstacles in the way at the time preventing it from happening.

Maybe if they were being fairly compensated it might have already happened but chances are they'll get paid a packet of peanuts (relatively) for one of the best match ups to be made in the sport. Beterbiev vs Bivol is a better fight than Crawford vs Spence ever was. If Spence was the same size and weight as Beterbiev and Bivol he wouldn't win a round against either.

Hearn has made it clear he doesn't want Bivol fighting Beterbiev any time soon despite Bivol wanting the fight.

it's a shame Eddie can offer enough money to stop Bivol from forcing the issue.

Them both being humble breed of fighters makes it seem like they don't want it as much also, even then any longer & it just wont be worth it for us viewers & both fighters credit.

I prefer that Beterbiev goes up after the Smith fight & complete his next goal, i am sure he will get fights booked easier at that weight any how.

First both promotional companies are leeches but if you want consistent dates & structure your best bit is to stick with Top Rank especially at this moment,

Second Beterbiev welcomes any challenges & never go disrespecting him by comparison to Lewis, he is more man than him we know.

It may sound like that, but it's not. Beterbiev beating Gvozdyk I doubt he is afraid of Bivol, or anyone up to 175lbs.
I can't say the same for Bivol, but I don't think so either.

They will fight for undisputed but it seems like Bivol, or at least his team, is scared. He is a good boxer but he has been overhyped by beating Canelo, which isn't such a great feat.

    Make this fight happen.

Yeah, I really want to see the fight though. It's an intriguing match up but Beterbiev will be 39 in January and chances are he's going to lose soon simply due to age. Of all the fighters ranked 1-20 in the P4P I think he's the oldest by at least a couple of years.

    Six years!

This is by far a bigger disgrace than the Mayweather-Pacquiao debacle.

    Truly embarrassing for the sport.
