Kalle seemed completely uninterested in a Hrgovic vs Wallin fight in a recent interview I saw

Kale is to blame for not being able to provide Hrgovic with a good opponent and earning, and now he is dissatisfied with Wallin as an opponent, and Wallin is not bad...

Weird he didn't seem interested in that fight given how hard it has been to secure meaningful opponents and big names for Hrgovic. I think he was banking/hoping it was going to be Usyk or AJ instead but Wallin is very respectable opponent for him and good match up.

Wallin is a good opponent. I could see him giving Hrgy major issues and even beating him.

Hrgovic dominates him and rids us of having to hear about Wallin :deal:

Why would you want him to fight for a vacant belt.

    It means nothing.

The world champion is the winner of Usyk and Fury, no matter what belt Hrgovic pretends to have

So far, Hrgovic has not shown anything, in fact he has disappointed me, in my opinion he lost to Zhang, he let himself be hit repeatedly by Molina, who did he beat? Wallin has shown more, he is faster, more constant, has a good jab, and has better victories

No money to be made. No coke to be had. Actually probably makes a loss on it.

He still has it, this is just a contingency plan in case the belt becomes vacant. It likely will be, because there is a two way rematch to the undisputed fight, and the IBF has said they'll strip the winner if they do any other fight before honoring their mandatory. Why they seem dead set on that and not just ordering an interim fight for Hrgovic so their belt can be on the line twice, I couldn't tell you.

Really sucks cause it'd be nice to have an Undisputed champion make a at least one or two defenses of their status. I mean, the winner of Usyk-Fury is the best of this generation, no questioning that, and a belt missing does nothing to diminish that. But just for the novelty alone it'd be cool to see one man bring all four of the belts to the table at least once.

But hey, boxing orgs gonna boxing org.

Why wouldn't he? It's still a ticket to numerous opportunities and a nice trinket on the wall.
