Sergio at his absolute pinnacle batters Tszyu. He's simply too fast, hard-hitting, and offensively dynamic.
You keep repeating this. Who at 154 did he beat to be this 'beast'? HIs resume there is fairly pedestrian. Wasn't until he moved to 160 he got in his groove.
Don't answer with a question. You called Martinez a beast at 154. His reign there was anything but beast like. At 160, Martinez fought a little more reserved. Doing the best RJJ style impression anyone had done. And when he could control his opponent, he had very good success. But he could be pulled in to a dog fight, where he didn't fair as well. And at his age, spending most of his time at 154, I think he outgrew it and performed better at 160. Even then, his opponents at 160 weren't anything anyone would call special, with the exception of Cotto. But by then, his knees were done.
I'm not looking at his resume at 154, I'm looking at his talent and his skill level. Is Tyszu really that good in you're eyes that you'd pick him to beat Martinez at154? I mean is Tyszu really that much better than that version of Cintron? Let's not forget that Tyszus best win is Brian Ortega.
Tszyu is certainly a better boxer than Cintron. A TON more heart to go with that skill. And I sure as hell would not count him out at 154 vs Sergio. But if Martinez did get comfortable, and fought his fight, he'd likely win. Wouldn't be a walk in the park though.
Mean Mendoza? Maybe. Cintron was one of those hot/cold type guys. But never had to dig deep and win a tough dog fight as far as I can recall. In the Martinez v Cintron fight, Sergio got caught up in too many exchanges. He really should have beaten Cintron convincingly IMO.
