I don’t understand what people’s problem is with Joshua staying active against limited opposition on non-PPV shows. The same people were saying that Jermaine Franklin beat Dillian Whyte.

I don't really care what AJ does, and don't think there's that much hate for him. It's the circus around him, mostly driven by his promoter, and the constant promise of 'big fights' that haven't materialised. Now we're onto Hrgovic being a big worthwhile fight which wasn't anywhere near his radar a few months ago.

I'm sure AJ would fight anyone but his handlers aren't so happy.

I wonder if the plan from Matchroom is AJ vs Hrgovic in December 2023 / February 2024 and then AJ vs Tyson Fury outdoors next summer ?

If outdoors is in Saudi then yes. Both camps have made it clear they won't take big fights unless the money is astronomical.

Think Fury v Joshua would be astronomical amounts wherever it's held tbh. Can see it breaking all sorts of British records if held here.

Saudi will always bid double for it, assuming the Middle East is stable by then. Even 2 million PPV buys in the UK and whatever else happens round the world, wouldn't touch the sides of a prestige bid from an oil state.

It still won't be enough for these greedy fighters.

Nailed it - these huge multi-millionaires not taking the relevant fights because of money!!!!

Never ever heard real Heavyweight legends such as Mike Tyson or Lennox Lewis failing to fight anyone due to money and big Frank Bruno never ducked a challenge either.

The current Heavyweight boxing era is shyte and a real Ukranian fighting man coming up from Cruiserweight proved it.

The one who was “injured” last December and hasn’t got enough time to fight this December?

    Yellow Belly ducked him.

The current era is shyte with Fury and Joshua's activity this year proving it beyond doubt.

You’re blaming Fury for Usyk’s “injury” last December?

Fury vs AJ is no longer a mega fight, it might do 1 million PPV buys in the UK, but the fight attracts zero interest from the rest of the world.

The Saudis wouldn't pay more for Fury vs AJ than they are for Fury vs Usyk. The latter is a historical event, which will see the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world being crowned.

AJ's star power has greatly diminished.
