Fiaz vs Bellotti would be on later but Jamie Moore trains Fiaz and Catterall so they have to leave enough time in between, which is why Fiaz vs Bellotti is on so early. A shame as I will probably miss it then. Majid vs Farrell is a good matchup and I'm looking forward to seeing Peter McGrail up against an unbeaten opponent before returning on December 16.

McGrail has been fighting in 10-rounders since his 5th fight. Great that his management and promoter haven't wasted any time getting him in tough fights.

14th fight and Hatton still looks like he just got started. Can't seem to judge distance, movement is erratic and telegraphed. At least he's fighting someone with a decent winning record here who doesn't look much better.

Hatton making the milkman look like Roy jones

Milkman realised he was actually winning and wasn't gonna get his bag so got himself disqualified

Commentators are making a meal of it, "surviving a big left hook" that barely touched him. Hatton had the better engine but presumably he trains full time and isn't stacking shelves Mon-Sat.

Crowd booing, can't tell if it's for Hatton or for the other guy going up the aisle. Probably both!

"Big crowd," says uncle Hatton... there's about 50 people in!

Eggie Hearn just cut ties with Hatton. He's bloody useless.

No doubt we'll hear about all the improvements he's made in the gym though and how far he's come since his first fight despite being a fulltime pro for 3 years now.

Gutted for Farrell was winning that before the knockdowns. He’s always in the fights but just doesn’t have the power/physicality to get over the line it seems. He’ll probably finish now.

That other lad is going nowhere worthwhile.

Good opener between Majid and Farrell. Always a fan of these domestic clashes on the undercard. Another one now between Bellotti and Fiaz. I think Bellotti wins this one. Fiaz is only on Matchroom shows because he's a big ticket seller. I can see Fiaz vs Hatton happening for the British Title at some point in 2025 headlining at the Manchester Arena.

At which weight? Hatton is barely even in the British top 20 yet at his weight, he's two divisions up from Fiaz too.

Unless there's a Conor Benn-style improvement out of the blue I don't see Hatton selling a big venue anytime soon; the connection to his dad won't do it either.

I know Jack Turner sold a lot of tickets but it’s disappointing he’s this far up the card. I was hoping Bellotti vs Fiaz was after this one. Hopefully we hurry up to the main event.

As expected Fiaz loses to Bellotti. Bellotti will likely face Liam Dillon next for the British.

Fiaz has struggled to make 130 and will likely fight at 135 next. His fight against Dean Dodge was at 135. Fiaz isn’t very good so he’ll likely accept a fight against Hatton at 140 as its winnable.

Maybe I was too optimistic with it headlining. I was just suggesting it as Fiaz should be able to shift a lot of tickets as long as his supporters stick by him after tonight’s loss.

Hatton didn’t look good tonight. I’d say he’s probably at Area / English level now.He beat Tom Ansell who lost a close points decision to the current English champion.

Yeah, I understand it, just wasn't sure if you meant they'd meet in the middle at lightweight, 2015 would give Hatton a while to get there. I wouldn't put it past Hearn doing this as a chief support if it was feasible.

Hatton looked pretty bad in a spoiler fight, you could tell with all he excuses (needs a break after 5 in a year, awkward southpaw opponent etc) even his trainer agreed.

    Round 1: Turner KO1

Turner with the stoppage infront of his home crowd. There’s a great atmosphere there. Now onto Peter McGrail.

If McGrail wins quick we're going to hear a lot of Bellew before the main event! Never have I wanted a fight to get to points this much :)
