If that fight happens on the 23/12 then yeah the winner of that will definitely be in contention for fighter of the year

Nobody said these were unification fights and when did unification fights determine fighter of the year?

Might be a little early to crown Tim Tszyu, but he's in the future, Definitely not Haney. Crawford is my pick

Not Crawford all he did was beat a shot Spence
Must be Inoue after he destroys Tapales.

Yep exactly. Crawford only fought one time. Masterclass win yes. But that's not enough to merit TC the FOTY.

I did forget about Inoue I must admit.

When did going backwards and beating up contenders become FOTY worthy?

I agree. But he was already gifted one title. No reason as to why he won't be gifted another.

Yep I never used to buy into weight bullying I thought if you make the weight you make the weight. But after speaking to somebody close to Kambosos’s team they told me the first thing they thought when Haney got to Australia was this guy is enormous no way he can make 135 but somehow he did and he absolutely dwarfed George in the ring. In recent times I have seen a lot of US fighters cut massive amounts of weight and I am not sure how they do it and I know quite a lot about diet and fitness.

Yeah, he's absolutely massive. He's a big 147 pounder at the very least and I told everyone that even though Kambosos is the only prime 135 world champion he's fought, the biggest champ he's fought, Haney was still much bigger than him.

    Same bro.

They just sweat it out in the Sauna. Check out Chimaev and his methods too. Bath's ( I'm assuming hot water ) wrap themselves in towells.

**** I always used to walk around in fighting shape. Ripped and all that sh1t. As my cousin said '' You're probably doing all that for nothing. You're wasting your time. You just cut weight ( water weight ) close to the event ''

He was right for the most part. Aesthetically yeah I looked good. Took an enormous effort to get in and then maintain that. He said you lose fluid. He's right again. Tszyu even said it himself. He weighs in about 80kg on fight night.

Now on the other side of that coin you still obviously have to do all the prep. And have that balance. Tszyu also said he tries to lose as much fat as possible in that 2-3 month fight camp. Anyway, I'd rather go in the ring an 80kg Lion fighting at 69 Kg as opposed to 69 on the dot.

    Massive, massive weight advantage.

The funniest thing about Haney is he has such a massive size advantage yet he still can’t put a dent in his opponents.
