    What a beast.

After what has been a very anticlimactic night of combat sports, I'm sated after that.

The Mexicans saved the day. They're like the Brits - they come to fight and they love a scrap.

Rocha was tough and game but he was swimming against the tide there and Santillan was relentless and the intensity in those attacks when he dropped him was sensational

The gameplan for Santillan was simple... seek and destroy!

Santillan was impressive! Lot's of sharp accurate punches, broke Rocha down.

I wasn't very familiar with him until tonight, I thought he wasn't able to punch hard. But now he's on my "must watch" list.

Have you seen major changes or has he always been the guy he was tonight?

I also remembered that one time when Roberto Valenzuela Jr. about 12 fights ago, badly and I mean.... badly stunned Rocha, like out on his feet an entire round, seconds from being stopped stunned. It's pretty clear, dem Rios boys ain't got no chin.:deal: (He's Ronny Rios' brother btw)

This has been Rocha's problem. His boxing ability is average. It's his power that has bailed him out on so many fights. Tonight he ran into a guy that can not only take his punches but hit back harder. He looked lost after landing punches and Santillan was still coming forward. No plan b.

He tends to be a guy who goes through he motions when he has a subpar opponent, but raises his game and sits down on his power every time he steps up. The first case of that is when he went out and blitzed Sammy Valentin in 2 rounds when Sammy was the odds on favorite.
