So Fury was to blame for Usyk’s injury?
    Great trolling.

Is this really an elite clash at heavyweight? I think everyone just makes do with the best of a bad bunch. This is why I struggle to get excited for this weight. I grew up in that Klitschko era and it was going to take some coming back from that and it really hasn’t has it. Fury and Usyk aside of course.

Like watching Roy Hodgson's Liverpool v Delia Smith's Norwich most Heavyweight fights this era.

Mediocrity all over at best and we still don't know about how really good the top 2 are until they face each other.

One thing beating Whyte and Joshua types but another when facing a live opponent.

I do think Fury is great and would have been in any era because he can actually box a bit. Throw a combo and move etc. Something most simply can’t do at the weight. Usyk is not a heavyweight in my opinion, he’s never going to look great at it but the fact he beats everyone still shows how bad the weight is. I’ve said since he moved up he beats everyone except Fury. I think it would be really interesting if Fury was 2/3 inches shorter but he’s not so I predict a comfy Fury win.

Got to say Fury's comeback has been incredible as cannot see many coming back from the long inactivity, obesity and mental health issues to regain a World Title.

Imagine how good he could have been without the meltdown, long spell of inactivity and body abuse during that period.

According to AJ speaking at the F1 in the States today...
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/67189210

If there's any truth in this the outlay for the main event and chief support (no chance it's a "double main" with a heavyweight undisputed on the card!) could be the thick end of £250m for two fights. Ridiculous money if you can get it.

The key words in what Joshua had to say were probably and potentially.

Not words that inspire much confidence. Particularly in relation to boxing.

He should be focusing on the next short notice bum he gets served up and not get ahead of himself.

Amazing how Hearn screwed millions from Box Office Mugs who actually believed Hearn's sales pitch about Joshua being the greatest ever.

Never quite seen what the hype was about in the ring as I always thought he was Prime Danny Williams or Matt Skelton level at best which was a decent standard.

Never an elite fighter and the Ruiz defeat really exposed the lies from Hearn although there are still plenty of Box Office mugs who will still fall for Hearn's lies and spin when he fights again.

Joshua has an impressive win over Povetkin that is very underrated who was ranked #3 with the Ring at the time. Can’t believe how you rate Joyce that much after he was exposed by a 40 year old man with stamina issues who Joshua already beat 10+ years ago!

The British Forum descended into excitement when Joyce stopped Parker after dropping more rounds than Joshua did who fought him when he was in his prime and an unbeaten world champion. When Zhang was mentioned as a possible opponent for Joshua, the Forum said it was another 40+ year old easy touch for Joshua.

When you’re at the top, you will always be criticised. It’s the same for Hearn for example. Hopefully Joshua can get out once more on December 2023 and then fight a Wilder or Fury in 2024.

“Mental health issues.” = Serving a drugs ban. I can understand women and casuals spewing that nonsense but on an actual boxing forum? Odd.

Scraping the barrel with a win over Povetkin - he was battered all over Moscow by Wlad 5 years earlier when in his prime.

Anthony Joshua climbed no mountains to get to the top, he went up in the Matchroom Funicular Rail Carriage.

Joyce, an old man himself, smashed Parker to pieces while Anthony 'Ali' Joshua could not put a dent in him.

Watch the World Heavyweight Title Fight in New York on 1 June 2019 and tell me what elite traits I am failing to see.

It’s about time we stick a fork in any talk of these 2 fighting - it’s done, not happening.

AJ is looking for another coach?!

An Olympic Champion and unified World Champ just still needs more time to learn.
