Not elite, just interesting and almost guaranteed to end in a KO.

Every combination of Usyk, Fury, Wilder and Joshua would make for a great watch, just a shame that we've been denied most of them.

Apparently he's training with Ben Davison. Can't think of a worse combination.

Joshua has been fighting Wilder after his “next fight” for 8 years now. You are regurgitating the official Hearn line.

Can’t train chin, can’t train heart.

they’ve run out of Martin breazeale Molina shot pulev shot povetkin Joey twelve types to feed to Joshua.

the list of acceptable fights now is basically the same list of all the fighters Hearns has successfully DUCKED so far

    Fury
    Wilder
    Wallin
    Papa Zhango
    Joyce
    Dubois
    Hrgovic

Ruiz III would also be acceptable

Most of those are below the level of Povetkin/Pulev that Joshua fought. Most aren't even in the same league.

    Transparent nonsense.

Tyson and Lewis ducked fights. But setting that aside, Tyson was convicted of a serious crime, mutilated a man's ear in a boxing match and allegedly groped a young girl, you can look up the details yourself. He was a vile piece of trash. You wouldn't want to share a prison cell with him or let him babysit for you, so why are you putting him on a pedestal as a noble man who is above base concerns like money? Pathetic and laughable.

The era is only bad because for whatever reason, you intensely dislike Luke Fury. That is where it begins and ends. Usyk's been fighting once a year since 2019 and wanted a massive Saudi bag himself. He punched up Joshua twice but so did Ruiz a couple of fights prior.

I'd pay to watch that. At least if AJ had a meltdown he could blame it on a voodoo curse, then vom all over the judges

You must have mixed me up with someone else as I stated quite frequently that I became a big fan of Fury post comeback but become disillusioned at him wasting his career post Wilder 3 when he should have become undisputed by early 2023 at the latest.

You had Wilder beating him and often talk about McDermott 1 being a grotesque robbery, as if it wasn't a highly competitive war and as if it has any relevance today.

How was fighting mandatory Whyte (who many claimed Fury had been ducking for years and wouldn't fight) "wasting his career" when Usyk hadn't even dealt with Joshua for a 2nd time until August, and couldn't fight in December 2022 by his own admission even after he'd dealt with Joshua? Fury can't just fight whoever he wants, when he wants. In June 2023 Usyk signed with the Saudi's, regardless of the political or ethical implications, because he wants to maximise his earnings. And soon after we hear the fight is signed on both sides.

And even if we accept the heavily discredited narrative that Fury was ducking Usyk (who one could argue was ducking heavyweight for years by staying in the amateurs until he was in his mid 20's, then fighting in the WSB and cruiser for almost 6 years after that, then chasing Joshua for the next 3.5), Fury would have ducked him for less than 12 months and one fight, rather than over 5 years and 9 fights as Mayweather did Pacquiao. That's before we get into the ducks of Tyson, Lewis or whoever else.

McDermott 1 was the biggest robbery ever in a boxing ring.
