He's a good fighter, which is all you need to be in todays 160 lb division

If Jermell fought Tszyu, Crawford and Zhanibek, he'd be doing the sport an enormous merit, winning those fights or not. I mention this because Zhanibek is a real talent, and it's a shame he can't seem to attract much western attraction. None of mainstream boxing media seems to be interested in promoting him vs Canelo, Jermell, or Crawford (who they pin against Canelo to attract attention). A fight against one of those guys could change everything for him, and maybe boxing, too.

Janibek v Tim Tszyu will be the next great fight at middleweight within the next 12 months

It's reassuring to know that if the Big Doodles don't front up & face Timmy, he can still scale the heights by meeting & defeating this bloke.

A tune-up against Zerafa at the weight, then take this bloke's belts off him. Timmy doesn't need Big Doodles to become an A-level fighter.

They've had very similar professional careers & they both started around the same time. The Kazakh had 300-plus amateur fights & won the world amateur championship. 30-plus domestic amateur fights forged in the anvil of Australian boxing will be more than enough for Timmy to trump him.

He has a chance to get some name recognition if the fight with CEJ gets made.

But he needs to unify the titles before Charlos move up so all paths have to lead through him.

Eubank Jr is not fighting Janibek for buttons when he can fight the drugs cheat for 3/4million quid. However he should as even when Janibek smashes him the Benn fight is still there.

Don't think so, mate. I'll give your guy some credit though - I'm sure he will accept a challenge from King Timmy when the time comes. Not like a few others I could mention. King Timmy will be on his way to the Middleweight division after he sorts out a few Doodles at Junior Middle. That's if they ever come out from hiding. If not, we might see King Timmy debut at Middleweight before the end of next year.

I think it's in his best interests to take a settler at the weight before challenging the Kazakh. I'm expecting Tim to be facing the likes of Erickson Lubin, Jesus Ramos &/or Sebastian Fundora before exiting Junior Middle. I can't see any of the Big Doodles stepping up. Fighting blokes who stand a chance of beating them isn't in their DNA. Zerafa coming off a run of southpaw opponents prior to a title shot at Middleweight makes sense to me. Same height & reach as the Kazakh & decent enough. Tim should fight him first up at Middleweight b/c it's in his best interests to. Not b/c he needs to. Tim is a product of Australian boxing & has used the resources of Australian boxing to build a platform for an international career. That includes astute domestic opponent selection. Zerafa is a resource that's yet to be tapped & should be assimilated prior to moving forward at Middleweight.

Everytime I watched he never impressed, hard to bore through most of his matches where his division only weakens as time goes on.

Let's see what he does going forward for a thorough assessment.

He is good but i happen to Miss his last fight, with him he's always fighting guys that are lesser known but the Division it self has never been one that anyone cares to discuss much, Top Rank should just keep giving him the best opponents unless he can move up in the future.

And i wouldn't say he ever reminded me of GGG in any way, he even looks mixed with Japanese anyways GGG was a strong force & fights completely different & holds a lot more ground in general.

He looks better but he will need chin of granite and a long succesful career to be up there with Golovkin
