Good thing Fury's got heart, because his chin is made of fine china.
Do you think this is why Fury is terrified of Oleksandr Usyk?

    Neven Pajkic -

Or could it be because he was beaten by:
    • Sardor Abdullayev (Uzbekistan)
    • Ivan Bezverkhiy (Ukraine)
    • Maxim Babanin (Russia)
    PTSD?

Those weren't flash knockdowns either. They both had him stumbling around. Cunningham for a couple rounds.

Knocking down Fury is a tactical mistake

You wake up 1000 years of fighting DNA

You cannot stop a Fury who has touched canvas.

Sub 190 pound Cooper dropped Ali heavily
Dropping Fury is not the most difficult part, it's keeping him down

To be fair only Wilder has done it recently and the same punches would put Aj and Usyk into a coma

I think avoid Usyk have nothing to do with scare of get floored.
He know that he got this gift- quick recovery. Usyk punch probably cant heart him soo bad but...
Fury know he slow down in last time and he step in the ring with very quick, very talented dude who can throw more than him and can win decision, or cut him soo bad that he will lose this.
He is smart dude. He know too that in that time when whole world look at Ukraine in close fight they might look more friendly to Usyk and give him decision when fight will be close.

This is big chalange for both man.

    Btw
Fury defence is for sure not his strong side.

Yes Fury gets knocked down just like most fighters,it’s what he does when he gets up that makes him different . I notice the two video clips don’t show how both fights ended !

Pajkic was 6'3 & weighed in at 232 for that fight. Hardly a CW.. & hasn't he just signed to fight Usyk? Why do that if you're terrified? Wouldn't you just retire? Those fights were years ago early in his career btw.. they don't prove much, especially considering he went on to fight huge punchers Wilder and Klitschko & neither of them could put him away... I could reel off loads of HW champions that got put down by small HWs in their careers.. Ali, Dempsey, Louis, Klitschko, Joshua, Norton, Liston... in fact Liston was smashed by a 180lb painter & Decorator .. its HW, it happens...

Dont forget featherfisted bum Firtha had Fury in big trouble himself. Fury stumbled backwards after a straight right, then his knee buckled and he barely kept his feet.

Fury has never been stopped and has just signed to fight the very guy in question.

Funny thread though. Would read again.

Fury also got up multiple times from getting knocked down by maybe the biggest puncher in history.

When Fury got knocked down by Cunningham it was because he was clowning around.

Yeah, walking into flush overhands from men around 200lbs and up is going to concuss most.

Cunningham was 6'2, 210lbs without an ounce of fat and clearly roided up for that fight. He had more muscle on him than plenty of fat HWs. The reason many HWs aren't at cruiser is they don't want to cut and want more money at HW.

Cunningham is naturally bigger than Ruiz Jr, who TKO'd Joshua and had Joshua running in fear in the rematch.

Seriously claiming Fury has a weak chin after the Wlad and Wilder hits is pretty silly. At worst he has an average HW chin, but almost certainly better than average.

Fury isn't scared of Uysk's power at all. In fact he might be so dismissive of it that he gets himself hurt. He's scared of Usyk's skill and speed and toughness. But scared might not really be the right word. He's scared of losing to Usyk I think, but not of getting hurt or wrecked by him.
