You believe Spinks would beat Mercer and especially Lewis and Bowe?
It's your opinion, you're certainly welcome to that.
I believe all three of them would ko him with in 10rds his best vs their best.
So would Foreman, possibly Cooper and Moorer and many other heavyweights Holyfield fought.
Spinks career at heavyweight was smoke and mirrors....
    My opinion

Those Bowe and Lewis guys would be lucky to beat David Sears

How on earth was Michael Spinks' career at heavyweight 'smoke and mirrors?"

Larry Holmes was the #1 heavyweight in the world when Spinks beat him. Mercer couldn't beat a 42-year-old Larry Holmes seven years after Spinks beat Holmes.

And those right hands Spinks stopped Cooney with weren't 'smoke and mirrors.'

Hell, even Steffen Tangstad, who was no world beater, DREW with Buster Douglas and beat Joe Bugner (who went on quite a roll himself in the 80s beating Greg Page, Quick Tillis and David Bey.) Spinks demolished Tangsted. Demolished him.

People around here are really quick to dismiss Spinks' win over Holmes. Larry hadn't lost in 12 years, and he sure as hell wasn't easy to beat after that, either.

Michael Spinks accomplished more at heavyweight than Usyk has to date, let's put it that way. And he came from an even lower weight to do so.

Just yanking your chain. I doubt that Spinks would beat Bowe or Lewis. Not because Spinks lacks in skill, but those were 2 big, skilled men who could punch. Especially Lewis. Although, Spinks would have a better chance of upsetting Bowe over Lewis.

Spinks could hypothetically beat Mercer. I could see him boxing rings around Mercer, actually.
