I see John Fury put himself front and centre again, inserting himself in the face off. Somebody needs to reign him in, it's getting embarrassing for everyone.

I was in tesco today and saw he had an autobiography out. Who the **** is buying that?

Itauma vs Bernath might be a banana slip.

Bernath beat Demirezen and Sirenko in the ammies.

Mighty Mo was a boxer & a kickboxer. You can never underestimate kickboxers and their punching technique. Vitali Klitschko was a former kickboxer.

Ngannou has club-fighter level skills. He's powerful, but that's it.

Wow, Bivol's avoiding Beterbiev even on the event of Fury.

Might Mo's technique was awful. That overhand right was so wild and telegraphed.

Ngannou wouldn't beat the Top 30 HW boxer on Boxrec, let alone Tyson Fury. It's a joke of a fight and it'll last as long as Fury carries him. My guess is Fury will push on the gas around the 4th-5th round and Ngannou will be done by the 6th at the latest.

The odds for this fight should be around -10000, barring some freak injury Fury will win it 99/100 times.

If Ngannou wins, and assuming he wins the obvious immediate rematch, what's next for him? I don't see him fighting a big puncher.

Rumour has it John was filling his transit van out back, while the other weigh ins were happening.

hw are not the same. Francis hits harder than Conor, he can end a fight in one punch, Conor can't really unless it's a counter punch.

Francis is not as slow as everyone thinks.

Francis Ngannou and Conor McGregor shadow boxing comperacing - YouTube

My impression of Francis training footage is him trying to relearn how to hand strike like a boxer.

mma boxing is different than in normal boxing. mma fighters deploy wider swings in mma because it sets up your kicks a lot better, a tight boxing guard also makes it harder to sprawl takedowns.

What you're watching on footage is Ngannou trying to please his boxing trainers and fight their way of boxing.

I believe once Francis gets in the ring, he is going to throw all that training and revert to his mma style punches. Which gives him more of a shot to catch fury throwing a haymaker from a diagonal angle. Francis default programming is always going to be to swing wild hooks and flurry punches while dashing forward .

Francis has an amazing chin , watch his fight with Gane, he ate spinning kicks to the dome and never got dropped. I believe Fury will out box him and win a dec. Anyone who thinks Fury will just go in there and walk down Francis is kidding themselves. Fury knows he trained for 12 weeks for this fight cause he saw the unorthodox punches from Francis and knows it's not what he's use to.

Pointless fight Fury will just play with him and hold Ngannou up for 10 rounds and win by U/D.

You're crazy if you think this fight will even be competitive. Even giving Ngannou a punchers chance is pretty far-fetched.

Ngannou wouldn't even beat plenty of club fighters / journeymen in a boxing ring. Professional boxers have been doing this their entire lives and just like Fury said, MMA and boxing are two different sports. He's fighting a world class boxer, at worst the second best HW in the sport. This fight is a complete farce and you'll realize it one minute into the fight.

I'd put him a slight underdog to Dillian Whyte

I'd back him to chin Helenius etc

Go watch his UFC fights, the guy is very fast, explosive and has insane KO power. He is very dangerous

His open workouts are obviously just him not trying

I wouldn't take him over any top 50 boxer at HW and that includes Helenius. You're going to see he has no footwork, bad punch technique, no defense, no ring IQ, etc. Basically the things boxers work on perfecting from the time they start boxing, usually as children.

Fury will probably carry him for 2-3 rounds before he stops him anywhere from round 4-6.
