So you're going to compare Mayweather, who has retired officially from boxing in 2017 (his last real fight was Berto in 2015) and was like 46-47 years old to a fighter in his prime? Okay... Also, didn't Mayweather still stop Deji?

If he is baddest man on the planet like he says he is then the fight should be in cage with atleast kickboxing rules to make it competitive.

Yep. MMA rules dont ban any of Furys skillset, he is free to prove himself using all of his tools totally uncompromised and with smaller gloves and no counts on top of that. Boxing rules ban like 80% of the MMA guys skillset so how can it prove anything?

It's not listed by boxrec. I know it's not a title defense, but is this even sanctioned by a boxing body, or is it an exhibition?

    Thanks.

"This significant bout is scheduled for ten three-minute rounds and will be judged by a panel of three judges using a 10-point system. It is not an exhibition match and will be conducted in a professional boxing ring under the supervision of the commission."

It's now listed on Boxrec. I noticed this aligned with a lot of adverts for Fury v Ngannou appearing on their site. So, make of that what you will...

Also it is now "sanctioned" by the BBBoC. The same BBBoC who owe their continued existence to a loan provided by Frank Warren back in the day. So, make of that what you will, too...

It's not rigged. Fury ought to be able to beat a debut boxer, surely?

The fight's as real as a bouncer beating up a pimply 17 year old trying to sneak into a bar.

I’d assume it’s an exhibition. It a pointless spectacle regardless, but whilst fans pay - these events will continue to happen. At least Floyd did events like this once he’s career was over.
