There's a surprising amount of interest from those who have been claiming disinterest. Out of the closet they come.

Some good boxing from wardley in patches here. I was expecting more from Adeleye after all the big talk

Huge knockdown for Wardley on Adeleye

He did well to get up. Then Wardley landed some more and stopped.

    Stoppage slightly too early…

I thought Adeleye could have been given a little longer but he was getting done.

Fury is only a -1200 favorite against a guy who’s never had a pro boxing match. This line should be nothing less than -6000. They’re literally handing out free money bc MMA dummies are betting on NGannou. NGannou will never hit Fury cleanly. He won’t be able to set up anything. And his power won’t carry the same in 10 oz gloves.

    Round 1 Adeleye 10-9
    Round 2 Wardley 10-9
    Round 3 Wardley 10-9, close
    Round 4 Wardley 10-9
    Round 5 Adeleye 10-9, close
    Round 6 Wardley 10-9
Round 7 Wardley wins by TKO

Fabio jabbing, David inches his way in, lands a few hooks, they hold. Hard jabs snapping David's head back. Fabio smacking him with left hooks. Right to the shoulder from Fabio. They trade jabs. Hard right from Fabio, David still taking it well. David holds, tries to rough him up. Two hooks land on David, drops him hard, he barely makes it back up. Fabio goes for the kill, unloads a barrage of hooks, David staggering all over the place. The ref waves it.

Now where the **** was this Wardley in his last few outings?

A bit early. I wanted to see him get beat up a little more.

Considering his background its actually impressive that Wardley has made it to this level, he looked very basic and hittable early in his career but he has developed a solid jab and actually throws some nice combos. Good finisher as well, didn't allow Adeleye to recover at all
