Am assuming a big part of it is that he did not train properly, take Ngannou seriously and has been out of the ring for a long time so this should not be taken as how he would perform at his best. However, having said that I never thought he was an all time H2H great. Quite a few of them would have handily beaten him at his best. All credit to Ngannou for what he did. First pro fight and that was a real accomplishment. Hopefully he will take his cash and **** off. He's an embarrassment and has been damaging the sport for years. And given that this is boxing that's saying something.
I need Pat M to tell me Ngannou is a H2H nightmare who’d be avoided by most past all time greats. I need Mendoza’s explanation as to how a skilled superheavyweight has arguably just lost on points to a novice. Nothing makes any sense. I need answers so I can get on with life
Oh don't forget the best one from Pat M "Wilder probably would've never of had a competitive fight in any other era Fury is only one who can beat him" Let that sink in.
Perfect summary.Fury seems to '' retire '' about every 2 weeks. The sooner this tedious, unfunny, grotesque clown actually does retire the better. With his ducking of Usyk, his boring WWE persona and unfunny stunts, and the infrequency with which he fights Fury has been a dreadful World Heavyweight champion.
No but got dropped and it was way closer than it had any right to be. I had Fury by a point but I could easily see a scorecard for Ngannou.
I would love to see this arrogant pig gets beaten up by real champions like Ali, Holmes, '88 Tyson. Can't imagine the amount of gratification to see how Joe Louis dismantles him with chirugical precision.
You can't be full of hubris in this sport and not train consistently. I can see a few current guys beating him badly and his stock as an ATG drops IMO - I can't see him going 15 rounds at a serious pace.
I never got all the hype around Fury, so my answer is he never was to me. But I’m old with my “Rose Tinted Glasses” I’m told.
