That would be all well and good had he been fighting a contender, or even fringe contender - but this was a novice. Questions should be asked really as to why he was so ineffective. Outside of Wlad (who Fury nullified rather than fought and broke down) I can't think of any fights in which he hasn't been the bigger and stronger man - so it makes me question whether or not his skills are really secondary to his physicality.

Fury wasn't trying, but he really sold out the boxing community

    Guy is ridiculous man....

Bad day at the office, as soon as I saw him getting ready for the ring walk I could tell something was up with him, then quickly put some coin on Ngannou

from 0 to 10, how weird do you think it is a fight where a guy is robbed but nevertheless he is not angry, but happy at the end of the fight.

Well, that's what you have witnessed today. This fight was staged as ****.

Absolutely. I can see it being 95-94 either way, and my initial score was 96-93 for Ngannou though I'm not married to that by any means. This was not a 7-3 victory.

But would it be boxing without a ****ed up scorecard?

Yeah I guess that makes sense. Was kind of funny seeing fury get roughed up a few times, he must have forgot Francis was MMA

    No jab
    No stamina
    His clinch game got MATCHED

This is why you don't take 9 months out at a time.

1:30am fight time is ridiculous. Way too much media throughout.

Fury & Usyk need to dictate to the Saudi's that all this FLUFF is not happening for their bout. They are both on their way out...they won't be 100% but doing all this excess crap won't help them get closer to it.

Its been going on for years , fans STILL keep buying the garbage They know ,as the saying goes, Theres on born every minute LOL You laugh at Fury but you fully accepted Floyd MayweatherJr v Conor McGregor.
That was the so called best boxer ever. ROFL , making his record breaking 50 - 0 defence win against an MMA fighter makin his Pro Boxing debut ROFL & you bought this one too. The mind boggles

So you are telling me that lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury was okay with him being knocked down and barely edging a MMA fighter making his boxing debut?

To be fair, they have claimed to have had a serious camp - could be bollocks of course - but the main thing I was concerned with was how Fury ran out of ideas when his usual gifts were not doing the trick. He couldn't hurt him, couldn't rough him up - and so the tricky stuff ended up as just set dressing effectively. Which was striking in how...trivial...it seemed.

You just never know, he did look like you described or fought that way due to being ultra weary of Francis power.
