I didn't score it I was too busy working out why Fury was so poor. Ignoring the fact that Francis fought really well.

but it was way too close. Fury didn't win by more than 2 rounds. I think it was maybe round 8 Francis won just purely boxing and outworking Fury who did nothing. Unbelievable.

yeah. this combined with the very low frequency of fights means that guys are wasting away their athletic primes inactive one way or another or else not getting any kind of big fight opportunity.

Could it just be that if going by this logic that when Usyk wins he will still get credit for his win instead of the opposite, either way this was out of Usyks hands due to Furys antics & Usyk merits stand on their own before he even went up to heavyweight.

He came in bad shape, wasn't taking the fight seriously and fought poorly. Buuut I still think this proves he isn't the ridiculously skilled dynamo so many proclaimed him to be. Still a good fighter, but like all fighters, beatable.
Imagine if he'd been in with Usyk tonight. Or Joshua. Or Zhang. Or even Wilder.

He outsmarted Klitschko with his awkwardness and outboxed the notoriously limited Wilder, and people treated him like a prime Ali based off of that. Those are impressive wins but he is still yet to show his skills against another skilled operator other than Klitschko.

At his best he's a tremendous talent, but he's much closer to the level of guys like Joshua Joyce and Zhang than people would've liked to admit.

    Totally agree, mate.

It may help to a degree with the size benefits but it's not as important as skills, heart, and dedication.

And to actually fight just a little bit more often would help... They barely fight often enough to keep the ring rust At bay, never mind hone the skills to perfection...

    Different times, mate.

    Yes... he very much did.

No... Ngannou's chin is just 10 times sturdier than Wilder's and Fury still can't punch for ****.

    One moment.

Nothing since his return comes close to it... Taking the lineal hypejob title from super fraud Deonkey isn't much of an achievement.

It isn’t a bad day for boxing, it’s a bad day for the boxer who has held back the most talked about division in the sport we love. Serves him right. We all want him out, hopefully this serves as a catalyst for his retirement.

Bingo. Deontay Wilder started boxing at 21 and look what he accomplished. People are shocked that a 6'4" 270lb champion MMA fighter didn't embarass himself in the ring because they are stuck in the year 1990.

I thought that the fight would be intruiging and it delivered.
