    Ngannou most likely smokes him.

Fury is a weight bully, he couldn't do his old tricks against Francis.

Fury leaned on Francis and he just stood upright lol

Fury felt Francis' power and did not want to get near him.

Francis having the world record for hardest punch ever recorded is not a myth, once Fury felt that power, he knew he did not want to get in his kitchen and stayed behind the jab, that is what you saw.

That solid right hand Fury landed a few times when Wilder lands it Ngannou is going to sleep.

These are exactly my thoughts. Fury never looks in great shape but tonight he looked worse than ever he didn’t have any resemblance of muscle in his chest arms and shoulders his body was extra sloppy.

"the hardest punch ever recorded" that's the level here.

Sure, man, the explanation is that a guy who has fought 3 times wilder, a guy who fought wlad, suddenly became scared of being punched by a guy who overreacted and reseted everytime fury feinted. It makes sense.

I know what I saw, that's the problem.

I can beat Piston Honda in 21 seconds flat in Mike Tysons Punch-Out! That must be rigged too!

Eddie's confidence regarding this fight comes off completely unhinged to me.

It's almost like he didn't see AJ vs Helenius.

I know fight math doesn't work like this, and I wouldn't be completely shocked if AJ did him in 3, but this whole AJ stops Ng in 3 thing... who is Eddie fooling.

Ng is bigger, better, and likely much more durable than Helenious.

Add to it, AJ is fighting cautious with everyone... you think he's not going to be cautious with a stalking 270lb Ngannou?

    Eddie coming off delusional.

    Lol! :D

I was confident in Usyk beating Fury before. But now absolutely 100% am. And I think Usyk actually drops Fury doing it too after wearing him out.

Sorry but thats not sure. Duhaupas took any right of Wilder without going down once. While Fury and Ortiz (and all other Wilder s opponents) werent famous for having good chins.

Ngannou seems to have a very good chin. If it is similar like Ike Ibeabuch (he reminds me of him), David Tua etc., i think he can take it like Duhaupas did.

And i could imagine Zhang and especially Hrgovic can take Wilder s right hand too. Filip has imo the best chin from all current HWs right now.

Do you really watch a fight where a guy drops his oponent and after the count he throws ZERO punches until the end of the round and you still think that this fight is normal?

    Really? I'm astonished.

I think it's a bit of both at this point. Fury's certainly looked unprepared in the past (Wallin) then come back to give a lifetime best performance in Wilder 2, but his body is probably ageing faster due to the abuse he puts it through, and the fact is he's only beaten plodding shot fighters in recent years in Whyte/Chisora.

My general thinking was that he could well have been shot for a while, but it was masked by the state of his opponents, and I though the Ngannou fight would continue masking that until the Usyk fight.

But Fury looked AWFUL against Ngannou (who deserves credit). I've no doubt he took the fight lightly, but at this point I don't think he can train himself back to top form. Despite the body shot fiasco, I actually thought Usyk looked good against Dubois, continuing to grow into being a HW and punching with more venom.

Usyk treats his body like a temple, Fury treats it like a dump, and at the age they both are that's going to count for a lot should they fight.

    It did, no doubt.

But Ngannou does have 35lbs on Wilder.

Fury outweighed Wilder by almost 40lbs, which played heavily into his strategy of mauling the smaller fighter.

Not having that advantage against Ng was like kryptonite for Fury.

Also, in all honest, Furys form just looked much worse in this fight than it did for Wilder.

So I agree with you but I do think there are minor minor caveats.

Yeah, Fury looked like an obese pikey from Morecambe against a dedicated and unbelievably motivated and well trained ko machine in there tonight

I don't think this fight shows us Jack regarding Usyk fight except that Tyson needs a fat camp before fight camp begins
