going to split decision with the hw 1 p4p should make him an honorary top 5 imo.

If we are talking about rating, most boxers in the top 20 dont come close to doing that to Fury.

    Francis should be rated 10-5

I think Fury was lucky to escape getting knocked out late.

His mouth was open and appeared to be breathing heavy from the second round onwards, either way his pace didn't appear to deteriorate too much throughout the fight.

I watched those fights and its clear from them that Ngannou had few skills at all. He has vastly improved since then, and Fury didn't bother to train throwing Ngannou into a very favourable spotlight. Miocic is a good boxer I'll give him that. But he isn't as good as a fully prepared Fury, which I doubt we will ever see again

This. I know most of you guys don't follow kickboxing, but I'm sure some of you have heard of a fighter named Buakaw Banchamek? He is one of the greatest kickboxers ever, and he was the man back in the day during the golden age of kickboxing. His record is full of victories of the who's who of the sport. Well, he once fought a stay busy fight against an low level mma fighter named Andre Amado and underestimated him. Well, Amado caught Buakaw with a lucky left hook early in the first round and hurt him badly. Buakaw never quite recovered from it, but he managed to squeeze out the next three rounds to rightfully get the decision. It was a very embarrassing moment for him at the time, but nobody would question his greatness based on this one slip up in a career of almost 300 fights.

Now Fury's fight was even more embarrassing than Buakaw's one was, unquestioningly. But I see this as an accumulation for all the abuse that Fury put his body through over the years and his lack of discipline. In a sport where grown men are throwing blows at each other's craniums, these things can happen. Especially when you don't give the sport the respect it deserves.

If you have watched him in MMA you would have seen that even when he does gas and starts breathing through his mouth he can still fight very well, which is what he showed tonight. it was still very surprising though, considering he is a ball of muscle. I think he could have stopped Fury late if he pressed in the last few rounds but he seemed content to go the distance. He is a monster though, very strong and durable. We need to see him fight Wilder next, huge fight.

Let's not continue further with these shenanigans. He can disgrace himself all he wants after Usyk gets his title.

If anything he was spooked by Francis clinch game. Really good fighter Ngannou. Will definitely watch more of his fights. Wilder or Joshua would be very entertaining. I also want Wilder vs AJ...

Hopefully Ngannou stays in boxing, no doubt big money offers from boxing promoters are flooding in, I doubt he'll be able to turn them down.
