Did Fury and Usyk lose millions after Fury's poor showing tonight? You could see Usyk was not happy.

No they did not, another fighter Ngannou is now part of the mix at heavyweight, although for not that many years considering that he is already late 30s

Fury is a great athlete in a little sport. Ngannou in to sports has dominated, he has proved himself to be a great athlete. And he could have dominated in many high profile sports if he had of been born in a different country. Nothing we have not seen before, there have been boxers start late who dominate.

Strength advantage will only get you so far until you fight someone stronger than you and then have to put your limited skills on display for all to see.

He was never great and is in fact that fat junkie that beat an old man and a one dimensional fighter. At no time was he more than that.

Maybe so, but at least the "fat junkie who only beat an old man and a one dimensional fighter" thought train would be including definite wins. Now he's in a position where the first thing said, rather than that, will be mentioning how he nearly lost to a guy making his debut, and arguably did to many viewers

And I can't emphasize this part enough - he did this performance in front of a room full of boxing legends. I genuinely think we could soon see the dude hang em up in shame and get laughed out of the sport. I hope not, cause I wanna see Usyk beat him, but it's not at all out of the realm of possibility after this.

With all due respect, I don't believe you, Forza.

If the most recent round of rumors are to be believed, were they not supposedly getting fixed figures? Are they getting variable PPV revenue thrown in on top of that?

Either way, I don't think the event was ever going to sell especially well in the US to begin with (in the context of its historical importance). I imagine people who would have bought it prior to last night likely still will once the hype train rolls along the shifty tracks.

Biggest loser is Wilder. An MMA guy showed more skills and took more rounds off Fury than a guy with over 40 pro fights. Shows Wilder can’t box or fight at all. But yes to the question this fight has now lost a lot of luster. But Fury can clearly get in better shape. He was fat gob tonight

Now MMA fans will keep bragging to boxing fans: "Our champion clowned your champion, MMA is better than boxing" etc.

Fury embarrassed boxing in front of whole world.

And Fury almost lost to Wilder too. Keep in mind, Wilder started boxing in his 20's. He never learned the basics, and his fault is, he relies too much on his power and never felt he needed to learn.

Usyk wins? He beat a guy that lost to an mma fighter

He loses? He lost to a guy who was beaten by an mma guy

I think usyk wanted to prove most wrong (including me) by being the first man to beat well Fury

Well John mcdermott has a big claim, but Ngannou is first the man that beat Fury the world champion. I don't care how people spin it, or what the judges say. Francis won that fight

So yeah, I bet Usyk is a little annoyed to say the least. He was hoping to see a little weakness but ultimately finishing Francis in style, then there would be a huge interest

I'm sure the fight is still very big, but Fury losing to an mma guy definitely has dampened it for sure

Most mma fans are actually at least casual fans of boxing as well. They might laugh about this because it's funny, but it's not like they really hate the sport of boxing.

How much credit will Usyk get for the victory?
    None.

How much money have they lost on PPV for this fight? millions and millions.

Everybody would pay to watch a HW unification fight between 2 undefeated chamipons.

But who ****ing cares about a campion fighting a clown who can be put on the ground by a guy who has never boxed profesionaly before? No ****ing one.

Of course they have lost millions, a shitton of them.

Unless Fury turns back the clock (possible), the fight might be disappointing. Best case scenario Usyk still decides to take another top rated guy afterwards.

By the time they fight, I’ll be pretty excited and forget about last night. We will see.
