He didn't look all that excited about facing Usyk on the 23rd of December. Something he was urging Usyk to honour as per their contract.

The entire boxing world is in shock. He has one heck of a job to restore his reputation, I actually don't think beating Usyk cuts it.

He has made life very difficult for himself. (obviously not financial wise)

Can't see him facing Usyk in less than 2 months.

Don't think last night tarnishes his reputation in itself but the Usyk fight potentially could.

It’s difficult for me to ignore the fact he got outmanned by a bum novice mma fighter.

Ngannou was quality, Fury looked SPOOKED by his power and strength and his attempts to lean in and hold from the southpaw stance were so sloppy I couldn’t believe my eyes.

yeah this clearly tarnished his legacy, fury lost that fight for me. I’ll give it another watch in the cold light of day but getting knocked down and manhandled about by a 0-0 boxer is difficult to come back from.

The only good things to come from last night was it showed Fury can be beat and Ngannou can get some nice paydays in boxing.
Judging by last night i say Francis Ngannou could possibly win a belt in boxing, he would beat Whyte, Franklin, Chisora i would even edge him against AJ.

Depends entirely on what Ngannou does from here on in. If he beats a few decent heavyweights or, somehow, wins a title, then it won't be tarnished at all. In fact, even if he puts in decent performances against those in an and around the top 10/15, but loses, it won't do Fury's reputation much harm.

I think he needs to rematch Ngannou and knock him out. The only thing that would restore credibility tbh.

Fury needs to rematch Ngannou after the Usyk fight. Ngannou has a WBC ranking, so it will be for the belt.

mate let’s not overrate Ngannou. a guy like Justis Huni from last night would box Ngannou’s head off. Fury was just so bad that he struggled with a non-boxer.

I think he would too in a rematch.

Surely has to be stripped if he signs for a rematch though? Unless the belt is on the line of course, rumours that the WBC are gonna rank Ngannou.

100% it's tarnished his legacy. The whole world was watching, Fury and boxing embarrassed itself last night.

It was before this. Then he announced a fight with a boxing novice & proceeded to get his *** kicked. He's made a ton of money, but it came at a price.
