Yeah said last night that was utterly disgraceful and the bloke is clearly a bully. Deserves a huge ban and hopefully that'll happen in the coming days/weeks.

In relation to the smiling when put down, that's something a lot of boxers have done as a way of saying that although they've been put down they're not rocked, or at least they're trying to show they're not to not lose a psychological edge, take Eubank vs Calzaghe for example, dropped early but smiles and acknowledges it. I'm hardly the fighting type and I don't know if you are but on the few occasions when someone has landed on me I have smiled or laughed, mainly because it's been pretty feeble but also because it either winds them up to try something stupid or curbs their enthusiasm to try it again. I agree that Adeleye is a big talking idiot, he should have had a defeat on his record before this, Kamil beat him and everyone knows it.
Im glad Wardley won and he looked a level above Adeleye but let’s be honest, that was hardly a punch he threw at the ref. He should get a warning at best for that.
It was out of order but people were going way over the top about it after the fight. There was no “punch”; he shouldn’t lay a glove on the ref but it was handbags.
At least he got back up, took his licks and went out swinging. Nobody would have said much if he had stayed down on the canvas. That’s hardly the act of some kind of coward or schoolboy antics.
