Tyson Luke Fury vs. Francis Zavier Ngannou & Fabio Wardley vs. David Adeleye RBR.

I have seen the fight 2 times and Ngannou was cheated. The first time I had Ngannou to win by 4 points, the second time by 3 points. Ngannou did brilliantly. He kept pushing Fury who clearly underestimated his opponent (like the rest of us).

Worth watching Frank Warren's chat with "Seconds Out" on YouTube. He'll never admit Fury lost but certainly didn't expect what happened.

 

I don't know. It's a Mexican show, so you wouldn't expect the attendance to be high to be honest. They are always fun to watch on Sunday though. Eduardo Nunez now has 25 KOs from his 25 wins. Justis Huni also looks like a terrific young prospect at heavyweight. He will be back in December too.

 

Weird post as Matchroom Boxing interviewed Hearn about the biggest event of the year? Didn't Warren do several interviews after Joshua's losses and poor performances? All the promoters are the same.

 

Said the same earlier on - if a promoter with a competing fighter doesn't get stuck in after a surprise result, they're not doing their job. I'd be surprised if AJ wasn't saying something in the next few days too, but he's not quick-witted enough to do it overnight.

 

To be fair I haven't seen Joshua be that outspoken about other fighters. He could have done it with Joyce when he lost to Zhang - Joyce and his team were making big noise about how they were confident in a fight against Joshua. Will be interesting to see if Joshua fights on December 23 now as it's a free date. I don't see it happening as it's less than 2 months away.

 

No, but you could imagine the likes of IFL trying to get one of their occasional pieces with Joshua off the back of this. I'm sure he'd be very respectful but wouldn't be shy repeating Hearn's "time to fight while we still can" spin.

Why wouldn't AJ fight in 8 weeks? He stays in shape better than most boxers - getting the right opponent for the right price might be tricky but still plenty time to sell it.

I think Fury was really nervous last night you could see it in his eyes. Not out of fear just the pressure of losing to an MMA guy making his debut. He just didn’t really find his rhythm. It was no robbery, hard fight to score really but I can see how Fury got the win.

I hope he gets his arse in gear now and beats Usyk on the 23rd, maybe all the doubters now will inspire him to be at his best. Usyk will likely be the bookies favorite now too.
