Tyson Luke Fury vs. Francis Zavier Ngannou

Henry Akinwande threw the most blatant clothesline to go unpunished against Alexander Zolkin. He did it well after the bell ending round one. The bell rang and he charged across the ring and clotheslined him.

 

I wonder why he throw it it, it doesnt make much sense. What a waste of movement.

At a certain point sheer physics comes into play. Francis is 6'4", 272 lbs of muscle with decent cardio who is used to taking kicks and elbows to the head.

Nobody under 200 lbs in history could actually beat him in a fight.

 

He was desperate. That's why. And he is a dirty scumbbag. He prolly hoped to cut Ngannou, as with elbow it's super easy to cut someone.
Should have been deducted a point straight away and strong warning for holding.
He is pathetic.
Hope he can't get out of the Saudi contract and is forced to fight Usyk on December 23th, and we never heard from Fury again.

 

I don't mean to be a grammar Nazi, but do you mean "what is the biggest ATG heavy..." or "what is the biggest small ATG heavy..."

Smallest would be Bob Fitzimmons or Sam Langford.

 

I also think it was a desperate try to hurt ngannou because fury realized he is on the very edge of loosing this fight .

The fact ngannou ate this elbow without any impression makes me believe his head is build of concrete .

He is a stunning athlete .

He took a bunch of clean shots from Stipe Miocic that have knocked other HWs out cold in their first fight.

Never has the term "perception is reality" applied more. Francis is the People's Champ, he was the victor to 90% of people out there. It's completely irrelevant to the masses the box-rec tick Fury got from the fight.

Fury's legacy is now shot too. Even in the event he beats Usyk, he'll be seen as a big man beating up on a much smaller man, a bully who couldn't get it done against a man of his own size.
