Obviously there are a ton of HWs out there who has a good left hook, but for the sake of simplicity I stuck to the big names most of us are familiar with. Also its not just taking into account power, but other things like speed, accuracy or even the sheer beauty of it. You can vote for multiple people.
Tim Tszyu. He hits like a heavyweight. That's why people b1tch out and flee the division so they don't have to face it and him.
Power wise Tua and Morrison , Tua edges it for being able to deliver and land it better. Frazier's left hook was effortless ... it's almost like a Jab in how fluid it and effortless it was. Also you are missing Wlad and Foreman . Both had amazing power in both hands, just a massive shame Wlad was mentally damaged after Sanders KO loss and was incredibly gunshy for such a huge puncher. Manny was always yelling at him to finish fights and he would take 6 rounds before he finally got the courage to launch a power shot, heartbreaking really.
Good post. Frazier had so much effortless fluidity with his left hooks, and he had a lot of variety with how he could use it. He could use it from the crouch and spring into it like he did against Ali. He could double up with it very well, going head-head or body-head. He could counter with it. He could load up with it for power, but he could also throw it short and compact as well. Excellent body puncher with it as well. He could step offline to his right to create new angles with it. I definitely feel like Morrison and Tua had more pure power in it. It was Tua's only real punch but that alone was good enough to get him to a world class level. Morrison had some good boxing abilities but also had a lot of flaws, especially defensively. But it was awesome seeing him unleash combinations and uncork that left hook hook.
