    I’d expect Tito to win.

I’m kinda torn between Benitez and Trinidad emerging as the winner.

    Benitez for me.
If he could make fighters the caliber of Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns, Antonio Cervantes, Carlos Palomino, and Roberto Duran look foolish consistently, though he didn't beat Leonard or Hearns.
No one on that list was as good as that group of fighters Benitez faced .
Benitez for me. Prime vs prime easier than some may imagine .

Bruce Curry, Mustafa Hamsho, and Harold Weston though.

    Tito or Benitez.
I realize Benitez’s skill set is next level but Tito was an offensive juggernaut and he matches up well with Wilfred IMO. Benitez wasn’t one to jab and move. He stood in front and while he was genius at it, Tito was deadly accurate with both hands. I like him here.

Benitez always faught down to his opposition, the better the opponent the better he looked
That's why lower level fighters like the ones you listed were able to make him look bad and even beat him in hamsho's case (though he was out of his prime by that point)

It's a reason why he probably wouldn't do well on a tournament.

Point taken on Curry and Weston . But my counter would be his brilliant boxing lesson given too Cervantes, Duran , and Hope. Each were better than those two, actually much better. Benitez sometimes fought down to his competition.
Hamsho ? Benitez was shot by the time he faced him.
Unfortunately, ( My opinion) I believe Benitez, because he was training and fighting so hard so early an age ( His father had him sparring with adult boxers in his early teen years) He simply burned out when most fighters were going into their primes.
Benitez won a championship at 17yrs old. Imagine what he must have gone through to be that skilled at that age?
By the time he faced Moore and Hamsho, he wasn't El'Radar anymore or the Bible of Boxing.
His reflexes were gone. That's What made him special.

It's tight, but I'd rather put my money on the superior boxer and, in this case, it's Benitez.

Benitez is another that gets a higher rating than he deserves.
Was nearly KO'ed in that first fight against Curry, did he even win that fight? Yet shockingly enough lasted against Hearns and stayed with Leonard to the 15th before going down. Weird...
    Trinidad would have beaten Benitez.

At WW I like Trinidad to win this, Benitez would be close though. I believe they are a notch above the others, although I do like Cotto as a fighter. Just not at that level
