Mahkmudov should take his head off, as crude as he is.

A low output, low power boxer like Fury suited Ngannou perfectly.

There's a lot of bums in the HW division he'd probably beat but a high output fighter like Usyk or a big hitter like Wilder or Zhang almost certainly beats him.

No, just no. Other than that he looked like he knew how to box, there was nothing overly impressive about Ngannou. He rarely landed any punches of significance and he was slow and mechanical. He really did nothing to inspire any kind of confidence in him going forward. That fight was much more about how unprepared and pathetic looking Fury was than anything to do with Ngannou.

Usyk would win 12 out of 12 rounds against Ngannou if he didn't stop him, while Wilder would end Ngannou in no more than a couple of rounds. Joshua would beat him easily as would many of the other top heavyweights.

All props to Ngannou for what he did but he has no future in the upper echelon of the heavyweight division.

The ten praise doesn't sit well with me, but I do agree that Otto would be a good name on anybody's resume.

Why do people keep replying to my post telling me that Usyk, Zhang, AJ, Wilder etc would crush him? I'm acutely aware of this :ibutt

There's zero chance Ngannou becomes a top 5 dude, if he was 27 and not 37 with a few years to burn and improve then maybe, but not in this current timeline. I'm not even sure he could beat a Joseph Parker or Dillian Whyte rn and I didn't even think very highly of them at their best, let alone rn whilst over the hill.

He doesn't need to though. Do you guys really not think he's capable of beating some random dude in a vacant title fight? Like I said a 40 year old Manuel Charr or a Charles Martin level fighter?

So the narrative now is that Fury was never that good anyways and now any low tier boxer who none would have a lick of chance against Fury can beat Francis who just whipped Fury in a debatable decision.

Sure guys. All these hypothetical fights are silly.

Francis hasn't hit his ceiling of improvement. Give him another year of more training and getting more money behind him with better training partners, he's going to knock some heads.

He is pushing 38 and got zero cardio in his prime. He is going to meet reality soon.

Hw carry their power and grit well into their 40's.

Francis also has less wear and tear. Most of his mma fights ended in ko finish.

He has good milage. He still carries his power late even with a quarter gas tank.

I keep seeing people here saying so and so boxer would take Francis head off. As someone who's followed Ngannou for some time no, the man has an iron cast head/jaw. I've seen him take head kicks and 4oz glove punches flush and move on. Fury threw a full blown power elbow shot and he just look miffed by it.

He is a freak in that area. Can other boxers outpoint him to win by decision absolutely but I don't see him getting KOd.

The only one who may have the ability would be Zhang but funny enough Francis has better head movement and speed than Joe Joyce.

Or Fury is just shot. I'll make another prediction with you, if Ngannou fights anyone in the top 10 at HW, he'll lose badly.

Fury is shot and I bet you he doesn't fight Usyk. I wouldn't be surprised if he retires. Ngannou is better than I thought but he's still no elite boxer. If that was Zhang instead of Fury, Ngannou would have been face down on the canvas after about 3 or 4 rounds.

Let's see Ngannou fight someone other than Fury and see how he fares. I bet he doesn't do well. Just because he was competitive against an inactive, drug-addled, out of shape Fury doesn't mean he's some world beater.
