Very easily Canelo. He’s more skilled in nearly every aspect of the game. Tyson is superior offense and knockout skill wise however, but that’s about it.

Canelo has a more diverse style. Tysons cus damato peekaboo was very limited.

Prime Mike Tyson was pretty much unbeatable. He could outjab taller boxers and his defense was on point.

Prime Canelo was beatable. GGG showed that.

The only 2 times Tyson fought a better primed fighter than GGG in his own weight range he got stopped with very little success (Holyfield, Lennox)

That wasn't a prime Tyson. His prime was in '87.

    this is a great question.
i'd have to say canelo is the more skilled boxer. my reasoning: tyson had supreme power to bail him out if he got outboxed. canelo has to work hard to get his shots in. canelo accumulated his punches to get his shots in. (much like lomachenko) but to be fair, mike tyson's foot work is grossly under rated.

He was mentally useless against douglas, that kind of thing happens. Its like being a highly intelligent student but underestimating a test, then something happens in life and you dont love your subject anymore.
Holyfueld was maybe slightly less talented but studied like an animal for all his tests.

The answer is clearly Tyson but Canelo isn’t a million miles away.
