...wins a clear and decisive victory against Usyk, is he suddenly again one of the greatest boxers in history?
If Tyson win Undisputed he has to rematch Ngannou and put that farce right simple as that,he himself and boxing fans all know this !
No, cause he is already hiding and ducking behind his manager and his promoters. He say he is fine and not injured, and his promoters are now lying that he has injuries. And they are dismissing the December date. He was never even in the consideration to be the greatest. Only his delusional fanboys have done that. No one who have even a basic understanding can put him in that conversation, for million reasons. And here goes with the fighting man and all of his excuses. He is just that a loud big mouth that just talk, and can't deliver - facts!
If he beats Usyk to unify. Then defends against AJ and NGannou and wins both, he saves his legacy yes.
He is going to beat Usyk.... he really will. Which is going to put the sport in a very weird position let's be honest.
It’s not happening in December, it’s being targeted for February now. But if he does best Usyk then he saves his legacy somewhat, but that Ngannou fight will always be there on peoples minds.
It would go a long way to putting his name back on top. He could retire undefeated, undisputed HW champ but beating nganou properly would still need to be sorted
1 week ago who would have thought that this Ngannou fight was the one being discussed in Fury's legacy lol
The big ooaf is trying to get out of the December fight. If the fight ever happens it's going to happen next year.
December date will not happen. He can't perform so badly and then be ready for the biggest fight of his life in under 2 months.
I will only believe Fury gets in the ring with Usyk, once he is in the ring, on the night, and they have touched gloves AND the bell rings - not a minute before!
Of course. Beating Usyk would be far more impressive now: Fury looked shot vs Ngannou, he took a lot of punishment and he was humiliated in front of practically every notable boxer in history who is still alive. He'd be taking on the GOAT cruiser and southpaw heavyweight inside 4 months of that. Whereas 66' Ali had a punishing and difficult fight with a far inferior southpaw Mildenberger, and Ali proved he had the balls to fight the best southpaws around, unlike most other past greats. Holyfield too had great courage, fought southpaws despite admitting his problems with them and went 1-3. World punching machine record holder Ngannou will go on to clobber some name heavies, be ducked by others and it will come to be seen as a feather in Fury's cap that he won on his worst night.
