Hearns junior would love to make Joshua relevant by shouting out Ngannou's name then fighting another Franklin type.

What's the most likely outcome here? How does this fight go...

Ngannou wouldn't last 6 rounds with Joshua. He would get brutally KOd.

    1. Joshua ducks and fights Charr/Kabayel/Yoka etc.

    2. Ngannou wins

    Ngannou’s attributes (pre-Fury)

    6’4, 83 inch reach, 272 lbs ripped

    Phenomenal clinch fighter

    Switch hitter

Big power in both hands, most dangerous puncher in MMA history, has held the world record on a punching machine since 2018

14-15 years striking experience (MMA and boxing)

    Lineal UFC heavyweight champion

Iron chin, never dropped or stopped in 21 MMA/kickboxing fights

Pressure on experienced boxers not to get beaten by an MMA fighter in a mega event

Easy to underestimate (17-3 MMA fighter, 21 months inactive, 0-0 as a boxer, outstruck by D. Lewis and Gane, gassed badly against Miocic 1, only one win past 10 minutes in 21 MMA/kickboxing fights)

    No boxing footage to study

Ngannou has lost some of the benefits of underestimation and the element of surprise but he's gained confidence, 10 rounds of experience against the No.1 lineal champ and Ngannou carries an additional fear factor now. Joshua will duck but if he did fight him he'd try to do a Ruiz 2. The problem is that Ngannou isn't a light punching, cement-footed, 6', morbidly obese untrained 284 pounder, so he'll close a terrified Joshua down and KO him.

Who was the last fighter Joshua KO'd inside 6? And what year was that Mitch?

Eric Molina in 2016, and don't forget the demolition of Gary Cornish before that in 2015.

Should the level of constant bias and agenda pushing for one promotional outfit (in this case Matchroom) be allowed on a fan forum?

Might as well have Hearn himself on here spouting his ratty BS. If DramaShow isn't being paid by Matchroom then it's just weird how he/she/it/whatever goes on. WEIRD.

What have I done wrong? I believe Joshua stops Ngannou in 6 rounds. It's fine for people to slate Matchroom but not to praise one Matchroom fighter? Make it make sense.
So you are accusing Mitch of pretending to be 16 years-old when making this account - make it more believable next time.

Ngannou isn't a proper professional fighter. He'd be blinded by the hand-speed of Joshua and would gas very quickly. It wouldn't be a contest to be honest. Agit Kabayel and Manuel Charr would put up better fights.

"I believe Joshua stops Ngannou in 6 rounds."

Not even Joshua's family members believe it. He couldn't stop old Bobby Helenius inside 6 in his last outing and got busted up, who didn't make it out of the first round with a two loss streak shopworn Wilder 10 months prior.

"Agit Kabayel and Manuel Charr would put up better fights."

Are you so desperate that you want Joshua to fight a bum like Charr over a mega event, mega payday against Ngannou? Mitch, it's clear as day that you're terrified of Joshua fighting Ngannou, just as you were terrified of him fighting Wilder. You KNOW there's every chance AJ gets KO'd by Ngannou, just as he did vs the morbidly obese Mexican middleweight. You'd be DESPERATE for the Ngannou fight if you believed AJ would win. But Hearn/AJ thought Fury-opponent Wallin was too risky, so they fought unknown part time factory worker Franklin instead.

Here's an entirely factual breakdown of 2023/2024 Manuel Charr, who Hearn has confirmed is in the running. This is who would give AJ and Fury a better fight than Ngannou according to you:

    "Charr-Joshua next?

Charr-Miller has fallen through and rumours are stirring that Charr-Joshua for the "WBA regular" will be Joshua's next fight. Would Charr be an acceptable opponent given that Joshua is coming off wins over Franklin and Helenius and a Wilder fight was supposedly "locked in" for December according to Hearn?

    - Charr is 39, was shot in the abdomen four times 11 days after being one-punch KO'd by Briedis in 2015 and had a double hip replacement in 2017

    - Prior to losing to Briedis, Charr lost to Duhaupas, Povetkin and Vitali

    - Charr was selected as a knockover job opponent for Vitali's farewell fight in 2012

    - Charr's best career wins are competitive decisions over Kevin in 2014, Leapai in 2015 and a 40+ Ustinov in 2017 (followed by 3.5 years of inactivity)

    - Charr was a 67-33 underdog in a proposed fight with a 2+ year inactive Trevor Bryan in 2021: one of many fights that have fallen through for Charr over the years, including Haye, Oquendo (due to Charr failing a PED test) and Browne, with Charr embroiled in several drawn-out legal battles"

It's not just one opinion on one post though is it. Any opportunity you get to big up Matchroom or a Matchroom show or fighter you're in there quicker than a whippet on a running rabbit!

You're just as quick to put down or discredit Matchroom's competition E.G Frank Warren/Queensbury.

Nobody on this forum goes on the way you do! Not one person on here has the same level, or even close to the same level of dedication to supporting a promotional outfit. Either you are being paid or you're mentally ill.

Hopefully we see it, would like to see how N'ganou gets on against another boxer. Personally think Joshua wins as he won't underestimate or not prepare seriously enough like fury probably did.

You're probably right but Joshua is petrified of somebody throwing a punch and Ngannou looks like he would throw with him. If there is any spite in those punches then Joshua will go into his shell.

I can't help but feel that this notion is anything but foolish considering he couldn't come close to getting rid of a featherfisted factory working no-name in Franklin. How does Franklin stack up against a horse-necked combat sports legend who can take a hard punch (and forearm) without flinching and who would be able to manhandle Joshua in a clinch and throw hard punches back at him?

Franklin has a great defence as seen against Whyte. He also has very good cardio. Ngannou has neither and if Joshua beat him, he would receive no credit.
