Yeah 2 names without a world title win between them unless you count IBO - gamechanged!

Matchroom didn't put it on so that didn't count.

Oh come on now, Conor Henn has defended the WBA continental title 7 times or whatever amount of times it is. Give that clean drug free athlete some credit!

Hearn has been spinning quicker than the Waltzers at the carnival, the Matchroom Rug has been lifted and Connor Henn is innocent.

The only criticism of the Matchroom Board of Control is the time taken to lift that rug.

The Hearn spin continues to worsen :

"Conor Benn is not suspended and we will apply to the British Boxing Board of Control for sanctioning."

He was saying the exact same thing straight after Benn snuck off to Florida and had a fight and that was about 6 weeks ago.

Until you actually ask them Eddie, nothing will change.

So Benn believes he is the head of the table, why am I not surprised. It's funny seeing someone type and act like they are something that we all know they're not. The quicker he gets rendered, the better.

Has funding been found for Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn ?

Does Eddie Hearn / Matchroom have financial partners in Saudi Arabia for this fight ?

January 27 at Tottenham or Cardiff apparently. I hope they make Dalton Smith vs Harlem Eubank for the undercard.

January 27th is only about 12 weeks aways. So in reality, it only gives Benn/Hearn about 4 weeks to get a pardon from the BBofC. Hard to see that happening, particularly when, by the sounds of what Hearn is saying, they haven't even bothered knocking on the BBBofC's door yet.

Doubt that it’ll be licensed by the Board. To be honest Matchroom could easily go down the legal route here as the Board don’t have a leg to stand on legally. I wonder what that means for the undercard fighters though.

Why haven't Matchroom already done that then? If it was that easy surely it's a no-brainer?

Maybe it would be because the truth would come out in court that Benn never really exonerated himself and the only reason Benn could fight is due to a jurisdiction technicality which Hearn keeps denying?

I think the key there is in Hearn's words :

"Conor Benn is not suspended and we will apply to the British Boxing Board of Control for sanctioning."
