Indeed. Lewis is very insecure about potential threats to his legacy and would likely try to sabotage Fury. Fury knows this and has accused Lewis of being a resentful old man in the past. Lewis is much more mellow these days regarding Fury but in any case.

He's also a rubbish boxing analyst and a bit punch drunk, though nowhere near as bad in that respect as Holyfield or Bowe, who got into too many tear ups.

    This is a funny one:

“If he can’t punch at 250 pounds plus then there’s no point being a heavyweight contender. What’s more concerning is Fury’s capacity to take a shot. No light heavyweight or cruiserweight ever came close to getting me down. I don't see where Tyson Fury has boxed anybody of Wladimir's calibre to be able to get in the ring with Wladimir and do well. I don’t think Fury can contend with Wladimir at this point in his career.” - L. Lewis, 2015, illustrating his pronounced egotism and tendency toward underestimation

Fury could use some better advice at the minimum. But yeah, screw him. Tired of his shenanigans the last few years.

 Fury is NO THREAT to Lewis' legacy troll. You add so much nonsensical garbage to this thread, you can't be any more than a troll. It's like you don't even put forth any effort to hide how stupid you are....

Lennox is still pissed at Joshua for not signing with him, even at the legends event he was just looking bored, tired & by himself barely interacting with any of the fighters there at least in the videos i saw.

Lennox is now in that relaxing state in his life as he should be, hes done far enough already & i doubt training Fury is at top of list of priorities at his age.

I’m not sure if Fury spent some time before up at the Wincobank gym at Sheffield before with Dominic Ingle but he would get Fury back to his boxing and I very much doubt he’d put up with any BS. Tbh I’ve never been a fan of Sugar training Fury as gone is the herky jerky elusive switch hitting boxer using his ring iq and has transformed him into a stationary static target now relying more on his weight and size than his actual skills and now has Fury thinking he’s a bonafide puncher. Then again if Fury is not going to train properly and not listen to his trainer whilst keeping himself surrounded with yes men and his entourage does it really matter who trains him !

Questions is, would Fury even listen and apply anything Lewis could show him? At the end of the day, at Fury's age, he does what he does and is what he is. Trying to implement new technique or strategy could be just a waste of time.

Even prior to holyfield (who is an all-time great) Lewis had fought better opposition than fury. The idiots that say his resume is paper thin should actually take a trip to boxrec and compare both his and Fury's resume.

How many world champions has fury beat?
How many genuine top 10 contenders has he beat? The guy is a fraud
